Achieving Maximum Efficiency through Lighting Controls

As an industry-leading innovator for over 25 years; Philips is synonymous with the creation of sophisticated, user friendly and energy-efficient lighting control solutions for a wide range of industry sectors. Philips now adds this recognised lighting know-how to the open world of KNX and DALI, to provide maximum energy savings, comfort & flexibility.

The Philips LightMaster range has been developed to ensure easy integration into today’s modern office environment, for either retrofit or new installations by maximising the effectiveness of KNX and DALI. The Philips LightMaster range now brings additional solutions to the KNX world including:

  • dimming actuator solutions that allow the user to decide which lighting protocol output they want to work with, including DALI addressed, DALI broadcast, DSI and 1-10v.
  • a true structured cabling solution to bring the benefits of faster installation, commissioning and reduced costs.
  • the benefits of being able to add sensors and dry contact user interfaces to the DALI line, reducing installation costs in field wiring.
  • low profile aesthetics to the sensor range, reducing ceiling clutter without compromising performance.
  • The LightMaster office based controls system is fully scalable and suited to both large and small installations.

Philips has also extended the OccuSwitch range with additional energy savings sensors. The new range is available in six versions, including two surface and recessed ceiling mounted sensors, three wall mounted versions for corridors and switch replacement and lastly an outdoor rated sensor.

A New Addition to the Luxspace Family, LuxSpace Accent

LuxSpace Accent features the latest LED technology, resulting in low power consumption comparable to CDM solutions, and delivers consistent light output, stable colour performance and high colour rendering. Ideal for fashion and food retail applications, this high-quality accent light delivers a high lumen package thanks to a dedicated reflector system.

It is available in three versions – fixed, adjustable, elbow. All offer a compact look and feel and a perfect fit. They are very easy to install, and their long lifetime means an end to the hassle of relamping.

CoreLine – the clear choice for LED

CoreLine is designed for use in a variety of applications, providing an LED alternative for traditional fluorescent solutions, delivering a longer lifetime and considerable energy-savings. Suitable for recessed or surface mounting, the eye catching design within a slim profile allows for easy installation and the square and rectangle format factors provide flexibility.

Available in 2600 lumens and 3700 lumens, CoreLine delivers excellent light distribution and colour quality over the lifetime of the luminaire. This affordable proposition offers an easy switch to LED and also meets current ECA criteria for general lighting.

New Additions to the MASTER LED Range

With the launch of 5 new product families, a number of retrofit lamps will hit the market including candle and spot MASTER LED options.

Amongst the range update is the MASTER LEDspot MV D 6-50W, the first perfect fit replacement for the halogen GU10 50W. Delivering significant energy-savings, this is also dimmable solution.
