Philips launches integrated marketing campaign to promote new ‘innovation and you’ brand positioning in UK

London, United Kingdom – Philips, the world leader in healthcare, consumer lifestyle and lighting solutions has today launched an integrated marketing campaign to promote its new brand positioning and refreshed brand identity in the United Kingdom. The campaign introduces Philips’ new brand line "innovation and you", which is rooted in Philips’ belief that innovation is only meaningful if it delivers on people’s unmet needs and desires. The campaign underlines Philips’ continued focus on innovating in areas which allow people to be healthier, live well and enjoy life.

 

The campaign centres around the new "innovation and you" storytelling site that features a range of Philips innovations and showcases the real-life stories behind each of them. From making an elderly couple feel safer at night through street lighting in Rotterdam, making bedtime easier for a little girl in London, to showing how a loving husband and wife can live together and receive high-quality healthcare at home, the stories show how Philips is improving people’s lives around the world.

 

The UK public will be invited to view, engage with and share this content through digital, PR and social media executions. The campaign will see video content celebrating a hundred years of Philips innovations, targeting an audience across the web with a focus on social media platforms. The activity is planned to reach over 2m people.

 

The campaign is supported with a consumer PR campaign to start a discussion about meaningful innovation with UK media and influencers, placing Philips at the heart of the conversation.

 

Owned social properties, including the  "innovation and you" storytelling site will encourage a two way dialogue with the UK public and highlight Philips’ continued efforts to deliver meaningful innovation and meet the real needs of its consumers and customers, with examples from the UK and abroad.
