Philips announces launch of RightFit service for Patient Care and Monitoring Solutions to help drive improvements in care provision

October 2, 2015

Guildford, UK – Royal Philips (NYSE: PHG AEX: PHIA) today announced the release of its RightFit service agreement portfolio for patient monitoring and ventilation. The new UK portfolio includes a broad range of multi-tiered support packages allowing customers to tailor service to their in house capabilities and individual needs.

Designed to offer flexibility to customers, the new service structure includes modular options; organisations can pick the coverage level that’s right for them to ensure high quality monitoring services. RightFit also introduces a range of exciting new features designed to complement in-house biomedical teams, including parts only contracts, first level support from Philips expert engineers and remote dial in support for IntelliVue PICiX Central Stations.

“Every hospital will have different system needs, but patient monitoring and ventilators are fundamental to delivering quality patient care,” says Lee Moger, Business and Operations Manager, Philips. “Our customers have a range of in-house capabilities to service their equipment and require specific levels of cover to match these. The new RightFit portfolio for Philips patient care and monitoring equipment offers more flexibility to healthcare providers to address their unique maintenance challenges and financial needs.”

By accurately matching service coverage to an organisation’s needs, RightFit allows healthcare providers to maximise their return on investment and increase equipment performance and uptime.

RightFit is a unique offering from Philips that lets care providers fine tune the support coverage they need, to ensure that whatever their requirements they’ve access to the necessary support at a cost that works for them.
