Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clean gums and teeth I’ve used a few various Philips toothbrush products over the years and highly rate them , this one leaves some my teeth feeling so smooth and clean. Doesn’t irritate my gums , I get well over a week before needing another charge. Much better then a manual toothbrush and highly recommend anyone to buy one as they won’t regret it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from First two =developed faults This is the third toothbrush of the same model. The fiirst lasted about 18 months, the 2nd about two months and was replaced by Amazon. The fault was the same each time, it worked for about 30 seconds then stopped. Research seemed to indicate it was a known and widespread problem. Philips need to resolve or replace.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My teeth felt super clean ... I bought this toothbrush as a replacement. It is an upgrade from the same toothbrush I previously had. I had not used an electric toothbrush for a month and after only one use, my teeth felt super clean, even after I had eaten. It was purchased at a good price with 4 spare toothbrush heads.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow Received this from Amazon at a great price this afternoon and just had to try it immediately. Following a period of ill health years ago I have been troubled by plaque on bottom teeth - after just 1 use I have already noticed an improvement! Thank you - can't wait to brush them later

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product Have previously used another brand but will not be returning. Extremely happy with the quality and performance of the Phillips sonicare toothbrush. Had difficulty using the on/off switch with other brand, due to manual dexterity/Arthritis. No such difficulty with this toothbrush.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Third faulty toothbrush This is the THIRD brush I have bought. ALL have developed the same fault. This ones has only lasted since the 5th April. Once again I am having to replace an expensive product which clearly has not been built to a quality standard that you would expect from its price

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Feels like a sonic toothbrush This toothbrush replaced an electric toothbrush from a different manufacturer. It looks like it can do the job and feels good in my hand. In use, the sound is high pitched and the brushes are comfortable. I have had the toothbrush for a month and the head is still good. It feels as though it is cleaning the food debris from my teeth and my mouth feels good afterwards. The thirty second signals are clear, and the brush turns off automatically, after two minutes. A big plus for me is the length of the cable from the plug to the charger. My previous toothbrush cable was 90cm, which was too short. The Philips toothbrush has a cable of around 100cm, which means that reaches from the socket above the mirror down to the sink where the charger sits with the toothbrush on constant charge.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Different cleaning action to my old rotary brush Never used this style of brush before and it's definitely an acquired taste but once you get used to feeling like you're in the dentist's chair, it seems to work well. Battery life is very good

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well, BUT failed after 2 years and 2 months I like the product, but I would have expected it to last for more than 2 years and 2 months. I have replaced it, but if this one also fails early, I won't buy another!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sonicare toothbrushes are unreliable These products work very well but, for example, this one didn't even last for 1 year. Dreadful!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lssted about 2 and a half years Brought toothbrush in 2014 with a 2yr warranty. within 6 months the brush started acting up. First it would turn on on its own and I couldn't turn it off. So would have to leave it somewhere to charge down. After the first time it happened and I recharged it, it would hold a charge for about 1 day and need recharging. I sent it back and got a replacement. The replacement had a 1yr warranty so although I still had a year and a half on the original toothbrush I lost 6 months when replacing it. This can work to your advantage also if you had less than a year to go but it annoyed me none the less. The replacement worked for nearly 2 and a half years then started exhibiting the same issues but only occasionally. Warranty had expired so used it till it stopped working completely last week (26/04/17). Overall really liked the toothbrush but wish it lasted longer. Note that i got my wife one at the same time and hers has worked fine without issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Liked it so much that this is my second This is an exact replacement for my brush that I brought 3 years ago and its great. It is simple to use and provides the cleaning I need without the 'bells and whistles' of the more expensive brushes. I like the 30 second timer that helps me be consistent with my brushing. The battery is great and I never need to worry about taking the charger unless I am going to be away longer than 3 weeks. Having said that the charger unit is tiny and light so carry it is not an issue. The only problem I have had was trying to take my old brush apart for disposal. Though I followed the instructions I was not able to extract the battery.
