Rated 2 out of 5 by from Really sad it didn't live up to expectations I bought this steriliser being the new one out and believeing how good it's design is. Using it became a different story. Within one week of using it the metal plate looked so burt i thought it was broken. I had to keep washing the white plastic basket as that too was turning brown at the bottom from the plate. THIS IS ONLY ONE WEEK. It's a real shame as the performance is good, just bad design. I need things to make my life easier not harder. I have read i need to de scale it???? didn't spend a lot of money on a product i trusted to then find out i have to keep de scaling it. VERY UPSET.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Leaks everywhere Bought as part of the natural starter set. Sadly after 2 uses this now leaks everytime which means i have to surround it with tea towels to stop it flooding my countertop and dripping onto the floor. Don't buy it is not worth the hassle.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Burning We bought the steriliser set thinking it was good value and a trusted brand. It now leaks everywhere and the plate has gone brown and burnt. I would recommend the bottles as our girl loves them, they just need to fix the steriliser

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I like it but it leaks! This steriliser is very quiet and easy to use and I like the two separate sections that mean you can do a small run or a big run. It's a nice size and doesn't look ugly in the kitchen. My one issue is that no matter what I do the steriliser leaks over the work top every time. I've used 100ml of water and sometimes less to see if that makes a difference but nothing does. It's not a deal breaker but it is inconvenient when you have to lift up the whole unit to wipe underneath every time you use it. A shame because it's a reasonably priced product that is perfect in ever other way.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great size suitable for all makes of bottles and pieces This product is a great size with the two baskets which I was able to use for Dr Brown bottles. Slim line which fits neatly on bench. However it does have faults and I have ordered a replacement: Bottom bit where you refill water stains brown and burns right up to the bottom of the tray where the bottles are stored. I have been told this is to do with descaling but I have been doing this regularly. Leaks water over bench. If you can put up with the leaking over the bench and hopefully the replacement model will not burn just as easily then this product is good steriliser.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use Steriliser I have been using this steriliser for 9 months. There is some leaking but I keep in on a tray and empty the tray regularly. The power lead could do with being lengthened a little and be made a little more flexible to fit to the holes better, which would make it more sturdy. In all this time I have never descaled it. Instruction reading was not on my list with a newborn. It still seems to work well though, apart from a strange smell I've just started to notice. Time to descale! I would definitely recommend it though. 7 mins and it's all done. Easy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile and grows with your baby A great versatile sterilizer. The main feature is that the sterilizer starts off much smaller to fit the first size bottles that you use for a newborn. As your baby grows you can move to the larger container which fits on the same base to sterilize larger bottles. Even after baby had grown to full size bottles I still used the small version for travelling. Simple to use. Clean bottles, add water, switch on! Easy to clean Large capacity so I was able to sterilize 5 Avent bottles at once.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaks! I have been using this for just 2 weeks and it leaks a lot from the bottom. In fact it leaks so much that it has caused my work top to rise up which means I will have to pay for that to be fixed as well as replace the steriliser. This is a shame as I like the steriliser it's very easy to use and takes a lot of bottles. I have descaled on a regular basis using the instructions on this website but to no avail. Will have to replace quickly not ideal when you have a 3 week old baby.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Top section of unit slides into bottom section too much After finding out how to rid the element of the brown stains it seems to get even though I live in Perthshire and have very soft water....I now discover that the top section seems to be sliding further into the bottom section more than it should as though the bottom section has buckled somehow. I wonder if this will be deteriorating the effectiveness of the product as steam seems to leak. I would like some advice please as the steamer is only just over 8 weeks old.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I'm comparing this with the previous model the iq24. It's garbage. Why it needs to break into 3 pieces is a mystery. Its design means it is a pain trying to fill it with water all the time. The only function it has is to boil water into steam. The old model was great. Ours broke after our first two kids. This one had been tried and found wanting Not as easy to stack everything. Having 3 separate parts is awkward and pointless. This is an example of throwing away a good design and starting again. Dumb.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Leaking!! I love this steriliser and have always liked avent however I have had this steriliser for 6 and half weeks and has started leaking from the base after a cycle has finished, which has now caused my work tops to be soaked, and is getting very annoying to constantly clean the water up after a cycle. Also the metal tray seems to always burn even though I use the right amount of water every time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Burnt hot plate after 1 week, we use bottled water as we live overseas! Good morning, we've use your sterilizer for one week and have noticed that the hot plate has burnt patches on it, this is NOT from mineral deposits from tap water as we live in Saudi Arabia & only drink a well know & trusted bottled water which we also use in your sterilizer. Can Philips please advise how we get a full refund for this product as we have lost all faith in it after reading other customers reviews. Regards

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Generally excellent This steriliser is a great size, it fits larger than normal bottles we have to use, plus my pump bits and pieces. However, the design is quite poor as it leaks after almost every run, although not always. This is not dictated by the amount of water we add or by how much stuff is in there. A friend has the same model, and has the same problem. We plan to invest in a plastic tray to put it on to stop the water going everywhere,

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing My old Avent steriliser packed in but I'd had it for my first baby, so I bought the updated version, the 3 in 1. I've had it one week, I live in the Nw of England, therefore no lime scale deposits in the water, and the plate is quite badly burnt. I've replaced 3 bottles at a hefty cost due to them smelling burnt. Really disappointed with this as the older version was brilliant.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from space saver I love this stetiliser. Liked the 3 in 1 idea but reality is I use it always in full size. So far have need full size to fit everything in from breast pump and soothers to bottles etc. Its slim design is fantastic and fits easily on work top. Very fast cycle and easy to use. Bought at full price when first launched and can already be found half price in a supermarket. Great for new customers but a bit annoying for me.
