Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely brilliant. I love the fact that this works brilliantly even when not being charged from the mains when in use. It's still powerful and works fantastically. I managed to cut my 10 month olds hair with no problems at all, other than him being a little wriggly. He sat lovely and still most of the time and was not put off in the slightest by the noise and the grading. I think this was because it's so quiet compared to other graders I've used in the past. My oldest son, whose 6, also loved the fact he could 'grade his age'. I like that there's only one grader that adjusts. As a busy mum with a house hold of loose toys, buys of Lego and loose/odd socks, I can't never find the grade I want when trying to cut my eldest, or husbands hair. So I was so greatful when I found that this had just one grader that you can set as you like. This also makes it so much easier to get a perfect result, as I often find the grader head to slip resulting in some shorter sections of hair. My husband said the graders worked well for him too and he found it easy to do on his own as he didn't have wires to contend with either. Loved this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best clipper set so far I have used numerous clippers over the years to keep my stubble short and tidy, but this is the best so far. The blades cut cleanly, and doesn’t need several sweeps to get all the hairs as does it so well the first time. The fixed combs ensure an even cut, and the range of adjustment on the varied comb covers all lengths of hair you could need. The ratchet adjustment feels robust enough to last also. The cut from the blades is very smooth, so no fear of causing razor rash/burn, and not having to oil it also makes maintenance simple. It comes apart easily to allow for cleaning also. The power will tackle even the thickest of hair especially with the boost function available at the touch of a button. So far, very impressed with this clipper, and look forward to its service for years to come.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant hair clippers I have been using these clippers for a couple weeks and they are fantastic. I love that they are rechargable so there are no wires to get in the way. The battery life lasts a long time, so if you are travelling or staying away overnight you could taked these charged up and not worry. I have used these on both my sons hair who is only 18months and my partners hair. My partner was also anle to ise them to trim his beard. It cut well with all types of hair. I found the adjustments a little tricky to judge length, i am not a hair dresser. But once you have used it a few times you will know what settings to use. I just started with a longer setting and worked my way down. The clippers adjust alot and go from 1-23 so they are great to use even on longer styles. They are comfortable to hold too. The clipper is easy to clean as you can remove the guide. Over all i would recomend these and they are really affordable too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great clippers I have the side of my head shaved and bought this as a replacement for my previous clippers which broke. It is powerful and really easy to use with precision. I don't use the lengths settings I leave the guard off but the mechanism for the comb is very well designed

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Could it have been better? Yes. Performance Looks sharp, time will tell how the battery holds on to the charging in the years to come, but a 5 year warranty is simply Great with a lot of peace of mind, so well done Phillips! Ease of use The last one I had was a Phillips QC5339 which died after a few years so bought this one. The first thing I notice is that 41 mm comb is missing hence the maximum length is only 23mm. Is this a step backwards or forward and something which wasn't much difficult to do anyways and would have definitely given more flexibility and a better customer experience? The rotary anti slip lock in length mechanism certainly is a welcomed improvement in product design. Personally I prefer the soft travel case packaging which used to come with the older models more than the new moulded plastic packaging which came with this. Over all rating I have a Phillips TV, Home Cinema, Iron, Vacuum Cleaner so a big fan of the brand's quality and customer service for the last many years but this product definitely could have been much better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor design and function My high expectations of a Philips product were NOT met. This clipper is poorly designed - with no comb on, the blade is sharp and the scissor action cut my neck. The hair trimming comb is a bad design - the comb is far too long so they don't lift the hair in front of the blades. Also the comb design holds hair so it keeps clogging the blades! I have no idea who designed this but they can't have ever used clippers themselves! Terrible product design. I've also seen lots of reviews saying the combs have broken. I recommend you avoid this product entirely!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just bought mine today. Seems a great product. Nice and comfortable in the hand. Charging at the moment. Blade adjustment is positive and firm. Little worried about the plastic, hope I can get spares here in darkest Africa when needed? Mine only came with 2 blades?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant!!! Excellent clippers, very fast easy cutting. I have used other brands in the past but these are far superior. Very easy to use and great that you don't have to keep changing comb lengths. Good cord length too, brilliant!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from nice product but with one major flaw happy with overall design, usability and battery performance but has one flaw - namely that the clipper changes the cut depth by itself !! The dial to change the depth is a nice touch, but i have found the dial rotates itself in use presumably because of the friction of the hair against the plastic gauge - even though i have short hair and use number 11 on the dial. The inbuilt resistance on changing the dial number is just not good enough. I have resorted to wrapping insulation tape around the rotary dial to prevent it moving.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Philips 3000 a new and very good hair clipper Take the Philips 3000 out of the box you find a very light and ergonomically friendly hair clipper. unlike some other hair clippers which can be bulky and therefore harder to handle the Philips is extremely light weight, which is very useful when using for long periods of time and your hand wont get too tired. the product is jet black in colour, if anything i would say it was a bit bland to look at compared to other models and on the top you will find the power button and just above that you will find a button which you slide up and down to adjust to the length you want to cut. Insert the cable into the base and plug in and away you go. in the box come two attachments, one for your hair and one for your beard. Both of which slide on top of the clipper and you slide it all the way until it stops, this is where the slide button come into play. when you slide the button up or down this then pushes the attachment in or out and you can adjust to the length you want. Rather than changing heads like conventional clippers the sliding head makes it very easy to cut at different lengths. once i adjusted the head to length i needed i started cutting, you immediately notice that Philips 3000 glides easily through hair with no struggle at all, however after i while i did find that occasionally it did pull my hair as it cut it, but it was nothing unexpected from hair clippers ion fact im putting it down to the hair i was cutting may have been too long and should have been trimmed before properly cut. Also in the comes a cleaning brush which makes it easy to clean. Just below the metal clipper head there is a button which releases the head altogether making it very easy to clean if hair gets inside. All in all this product is great for people who cut hair at home or professionally as it light weight and extremely easy to use, especially with the adjustment button for the attaching head.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good as any ive used I wanted a new set of hair-clippers and i was going to get some more whal clippers as they have been great for the last 5 years and cost me double what these Phillips hair-clippers cost me , i was a bit apprehensive to try a new pair of clippers but im glad i took a chance , quick charging light easy to use and good range of clipper setting for different cuts , i didn't think a cordless pair of hair clippers would do i good job but boy was i wrong , these clippers are as good as any ive used , would of been nice to have a cushioned inside the plastic box it came in the egg box card board interior inside the case made it look cheap , so i sprayed the cardboard black on the inside and it looks a 100% better and its a nice edition to my shaver i bought running on the same theme of red and black - we need colour coordinated things Philips.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Good Hair Clippers But You May Get Caught Out! I have used this product over the last few weeks and i can say its the best hair clippers i have used to date. The battery life in this is extremely good i have only charged it once since i received it and it still has plenty of life in it and i have used it at least 5 times. The hair clippers come with 1 plastic length guard that has all the adjustments you will need so theres no need to keep changing sizes. The thing i like the most about this is the weight as its very light which makes it very easy to use over a long period of time. The Main issue i had was with the Length numbers on the hair clippers as they don't match up correctly with what is commonly used. For Example i wanted to use the number 4 but when i started using it, it was clear that the number 4 was shorter than the number four i have been used to. So this took a bit of time to get use to so after that everything was very smooth. Overall i can say this is a very good product and i would happily recommend it to others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product produces neat lines The Philips Series 3000 Hair Clipper Cordless and Corded. Are by far two of the best hair clippers I have ever used. They both produce neat lines, even cuts and they don’t feel uncomfortable on your head or face. The beard trimmer is excellent, and performs well. The cordless aspect of it is also fantastic. You can cut anywhere in the household, not just in the most convenient place nearest the power source. However, my favourite thing about the product, is that all the lengths of cut are on the front of the device, and you can choose which style you want by moving the lever to whichever number you want. This is much better than having a load of clipper heads to choose from which can create a lot of clutter. Brilliant design. 5 star product. Thank you very much Philips for letting me test these two products.
