Philips Aluminium Collection Juicer HR1861/20 700 W 2 l XL tube is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 84.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is simple to use and relatively easy to clean. The Philips Juicer is an easy to use appliance juicing all sorts of fruit and vegetables, most of which require very little preparation and are juiced whole thanks to the large feed tube. All of this means it is quick and easy to produce a vast range of juices and the cleaning afterwards is very easy and quick and this means it will stay on the work surface ready for daily use and not relegated to a cupboard where many kitchen appliances end up.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dreadful for apples I only bought this machine for juicing apples. I have had it for two years and it is going to be consigned to free cycle. You get a third of a jug of juice and two thirds scum. It is messy and none of the pulp goes into the waste bin - it just sits in the lid. It is difficult to clean. I can only assume people use it for other things and get these fantastic results. I don't think I have ever been so disappointed with a product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product Great juicer I can see why it was recommended by Jason Vale. Couldn't be easier to use and is a lot easier and quicker to clean than I had expected. The amount of juice it removed from items was brilliant, the pulp left in the container was very dry. I think the only way it could be improved is if it cleaned itself :) In addition the Juice Master book that came with it had excellent juice/smoothie recipes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An essential product when the harvest is good. It was something I would never have considered buying, but a bumper crop of apples and pears forced my hand.It was so easy to use. Even after giving away pounds of fruit I was able to fill the freezer with juice, both cloudy and clear, which I have used in many recipes. No bumper harvest this year so it has remained in the cupboard. Luckily I do have the space to store it. Here's to next years harvest.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Our first juicer - two thumbs up! We did a lot of research, and this one came up as a good option for our first juicer, does everything it says it will on the box, so all and all a good experience, can't compare to anything else but it does seem to get a lot of juice out of anything we put into it, though it does seem sometime that the left-overs are still a bit wet so perhaps a bit more could have been squeezed out...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from very good with some problems The lid broke at the bottom of the feeder tube and I had to get a replacement. I find it awkward to remove the centrifugal blade, maybe there is a release button I haven't found. The juice produced is excellent. I put a plastic bag in the waste container to reduce cleaning. This goes straight in the compost. Needs a flexible scraper to remove pulp from the nooks and crannies.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from disappointed This was great to use but after our second purchase of it we gave up because we could not get it apart to clean it. We had the same problem with the first one. A shame because we were really enjoying juicing and probably eating more healthfully. We could try another brand of juicer but as this was supposed to be the best, we have been a bit put off!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product was easy to use With a large harvest of apples and pears this year we have been able to convert all the wind falls into juice. After removing the bruised parts and cutting into pieces the Juicer did the rest. My wife has frozen several litres of juice which we hope to use in the winter months, give us a taste of summer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This product is easy to use and clean The issue with juicers is primarily the cleaning afterwards but the design allows for a waste bag to used which reduces the overall cleaning requirement. As for the rest of the cleaning, the parts come out easily for ease of cleaning and replacement. Overall we are very satisfied with the product

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product has great features It is refreshingly easy to put together and use - straight out of the box! Very sturdy when in operation. All parts are dishwasher proof which is a mega plus! The juice it produces is brilliant and all the waste either goes on the garden or in the recycle bins! An excellent machine!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easey to use Great product easy to use I bought this to help me diet I have now lost 3 .5 stone by juicing using this machine. I make fruit juice in the morning and veggie juice I take for lunch. I also use it to make fantastic gravey for my meal at night. I would be lost without my juicer now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 'Good' This is my first juicer so do not know what juicers are like to have ,Philips is Good, quick and very stylish bit concerned about the build quality as the wire mesh filter ,the heart of the juicer is very delicately made, hence do not know how long will it last with everyday use!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product does exactly what it is meant to do and very well. I use this juicer very often as I have apple and pear trees. I absolutely love it. It's well worth the money spent on it. It is very strong as it should be. I damaged the lid just after the guarantee expired and Phillips' service was fantastic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent apple juicer, although needs cleaned frequently. Quite easy to use, produces a lot of apple juice as long as you keep stopping and cleaning it out. Would be better if the pulp went in the 'bucket' rather than clinging to the juicer part. Still, it's much better than a manual press.
