Philips Viva Collection Juicer HR1863/01 700 W QuickClean 2 l, XL tube is rated 2.2 out of 5 by 53.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed with the product I loved this when I bought it. It was easy to clean and took whole fruit. However, in a short time the motor burnt out and I was unable to get it repaired as this model cannot be repaired. I was advised that as it was out of warranty (was in storage for a few months while we moved) the only option was to buy a new one and throw it away. In a society where we are trying to reduce landfill and reuse/recycle I felt very disappointed and therefore decided not to buy another juicer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Easy to Use, Poor a Design This is my second HR1963 juicer in the space of just over 2 months. The locking procedure is the main flaw due mainly to the hinged mechanism on either side of the juicer. These hinges are used to keep the various parts of the juicer in place once assembled and also allows the juicer to operate. Here is the problem the hinge design is very weak and once unassembled lays open instead of having the ability to stay vertical. This open horizontal position leaves this juicer vulnerable to stresses or knocks to it's very weak hinges. One side of my previous juicer became loose and would not allow me to operate the juicer without holding on to it to keep it working. Very frustrating and very poorly thought through design. I got a free replacement which is my only consolation. Apart from this very big issue with this machine it is extremely easy to use and is a great compact design once assembled. Such a pity.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poor I've had the juicer for approximately one month. Initially I was impressed but after a couple of weeks I am ready to put it the bin! It does not now wash under a running tap but initially it needs a scrub and then it goes in the dishwasher. There were no detailed use instructions in the box and eventually found some on you tube! A jug was not included despite being pictured on the box! Anyone elderly will struggle with removing the grater! I wish I had bought another brand, Phillips customer service were unhelpful when I rang. Anyone considering purchasing this juicer, I would suggest they look elsewhere!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It does not take a minute to clean....more like 20 Even when pouring water in it after use (like it says in the instructions to clean it in a minute) you still have to dismantle it to wash each part as well as empty the pulp collecter. When you do dismantle it, be warned....you WILL get covered in juice & it WILL drip everywhere. Also, if you juice too much & over fill the pulp collector without noticing it, it leaks pulp & your juice ends up lumpy. The juice is lovely (TIP dont put in unpeeled citrus!) but the cleaning is time consuming.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Broken handle Ive always used a philips juicer. I bought this one thinking i was getting a better product but i could not move it, as the suction on the base of the unit was too strong. Now one of the handles have snapped off. The juicer can not be used if the handles are not securely closed tight onto the machine. Phillips why are you not even selling replacement handles? Im really disappointed. This has been a waste of money and i cant even find my receipt

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just the Juicing minute. Absolutely bang on appliance. Performs fantastical. Downside if any, the noise, so don't be using it at 3 in the morning.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Motor burnt out! I had heard great reviews about this juicer, and when I bought it I was incredibly happy. Was easy to use, easy to clean and small and compact enough to fit my purposes. However within 30 days after I bought it, the motor burnt out. ( and that wasn't with use every day either!) Really disappointed. Don't buy it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Plastic handles snapped So annoyed. Hardly used juicer. Just bought load of fruit and veg and the plastic strap on one side pinged off and totally unrepairable and now cannot use juicer. Was given as a present. So no receipt. Very disappointed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Juicer!!! This juicer is easy to clean and looks great in our kitchen. So far so good and have enjoyed the drinks we have made. I would suggest that for better results, remove seeds from apples if making apple juice. However this machine is amazing.
