Rated 1 out of 5 by from this product is not robust I have had two air flossers. Both have broken after about a year's use. I have not kept the receipts so I am unable to claim on the guarantee. On balance, far too expensive given the fragility of the product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from sonicare Air Floss interdental cleaner My daughter purchased this product for me in September 2017 as a present for my birthday. The product was excellent as confirmed by my dentist. However, the flossa only operated until 18th April 2018. I returned the product to the local Boots store from where it was purchased and they replaced it. This second air floss also 'gave up' in April this year. Again I returned this to store and I now have my third 'attempt'. I have my fingers crossed that my luck will change. If not then I will not replace it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Airfloss not Floss anymore for me No more flossing for me. The Airfloss is a quick and simple way to blast freshness into your daily dental routine. I have two crowns and have problems with food becomming lodged between my teeth, t have flossed but dont really like flossing, I moved onto tnterdental toothbrushes which were better but could be uncomfortable to use and are difficult to use the further back you go in your mouth, so thought I woulf give the Airfloss a try. You just fill the reservoir compartment with mouthwash or water and position the head of the floss between the gap at the base of you teeth and press the button. Blam... a blast of mouthwash cleans between your teeth keeping your mouth and gums clean and fresh. Cleaning between all your teeth takes about 30 seconds extra, its that easy. My only wish is that the reservoir was a bit larger as I need to fill it back up every other use. The battery life is good, I have been using for nearly two weeks now and its still going strong from the initial charge. So no more messy flossing anymore for me!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great flosser This is very simple to use once charged just place the nozzle head between your teeth and press the button. It does clear bits between your teeth and they do feel clean and i found it less painful then trying to get floss between one or two of my teeth. You can use water or a mouth wash with the unit. We have used this in the shower so you can top up the resevoir as you go with water if required and no mess in there. The couple of negatives to me are its easy to catch the activation button so be careful when holding the unit dont spray the mirror or yourself. The resevoir is very small so you may find you are having to top this up once during a floss. Other than that its compact, fits away into a cabinet just like a tooth brush and we have found using it daily it lasts around a couple of weeks before a recharge. Heads are easy to change they are just a push fit so when 2 people are sharing the flosser with different heads its like changing the head on your electric tooth brush.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Teeth feel cleaner I have been using the Sonicare Airfloss twice a day for quite a few weeks now. I have found that my gums are bleeding less than manual flossing. I have also found that my teeth and gums look cleaner after use, but I'm not sure if that is actually the case that they are cleaner. Generally, the airfloss was easy to use. It also had good charging time; I used the airfloss for twice a day for a week with charging it just once. However, the handle could be slimmer as it hurt holding it after a while. It could also have a softer grip. One should also not hold it near to a mirror as it sprays a lot while using it. Also, the water tank could be bigger, as I had to fill it up twice to clean my top and bottom teeth. Overall, my teeth feel cleaner than before I started using the product. The use of airfloss is also quick and efficient compared to manual flossing. I am happy with this product, and will continue to use it twice a day. I have only used water yet, but may try using it with mouth wash too in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Recommended by my dentist as I have struggled to floss my teeth. The airfloss is absolutely brilliant, for the first time in my life at the age of 54 I am able to floss my teeth before brushing. Wish I had bought the product years ago as it would have probably prevented the current issues I now have.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Clean teeth with Airfloss My last Airfloss lasted 3 years and was used daily and when it came to replace it I looked at other brands and quickly came to the conclusion to buy again from Philips. I am happy I made that choice and the new machine has taken over from the old, helping to keep my mouth clean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the money!!! Easy to use. I have started to use Philips Sonic AirFloss one month ago and I am really impressed!! I was flossing from time to time, before I have started to use it, but I think I was doing it wrong, because I didn’t notice any difference. Now after few weeks I can feel my teeth are in better conditions. And this product is a time saver!!! It takes only 30 seconds to floss!!! I can say it really works!!! Before you can use it you need to charge the product for 24 hours. Battery life is around 12-14 days. The quality of the AirFloss is great. In box you can find: product, which is very similar as an electric toothbrush, two heads, which you are using to floss and charger. All you need to do is to fill the reservoir with mouthwash or water and start the adventure. The product is not heavy, so it is perfect for travel. I am cleaning my teeth after every meal. The most important thing is obviously the results and my dentist noticed an improvement between the teeth and along the gums. Well worth the money!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not much power I bought this from our dentists to replace a previous flosser, so thought it would be efficient and easy to use. I find that it has hardly any power and the reservoir is too small and has to be filled up twice during use. A sad disappointment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really impressed! I like this product very much; it has made a real difference to the way I clean my teeth. I love the way my teeth feel after using it and I like the simplicity of use. The unit is well built and the instructions are clear and concise.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does a fantastic job - but not for long. The Airfloss is so much more convenient than flossing manually! Once you get a technique it take less than a minute. However, this is my third Airfloss, for all the wrong reasons. The first died during its first two years, and was replaced under warranty, the 2nd died after three years and it was not replaced because it was outside the two year warranty. Each time the unit would not accept a charge. Having found a replacement at a heavily discounted price, I am willing to give it another go, but with 3 expensive rechargeable toothbrushes recently dying within three years as well, there is no way I would pay full price for any Philips rechargeable items any more. Kitchen items, Shavers and hair trimmers running on 240v or battery operated items keep working but I fear that Philips rechargeable tech is falling them - and me! The Airfloss is a great idea and you do get that fresh from the dentist feeling - but don't be surprised if it fails sooner that you would expect.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from good but has limited life This and my previous airfloss only worked for three years before failing. This is worthwhile as it is so much easier than messing around with floss or interdental brushes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant for delicate gums The airfloss is a brilliant invention and addition to my current dental care kit. Especially with someone who has delicate gums that are prone to bleeding. Gone are the days when floss and tooth picks were required in order to get to the most elusive bits of the teeth and mouth. The airfloss gives a dentist clean kind of feeling. The Sonicare airfloss is very easy and straight forward to use. Other members of my family are now all interesting in getting their own heads in order for them to use it also. Sonicare Airfloss gives you that final blast of clean and sheen. My dental specialist recommends it. My mother has gum disease and has been astounding by the difference it has made to her condition and I cant recommend higher than I have. I'm hoping to make this a normal part of my dental care regime and hoping that the rest of family will hop along too. Husband is already bugging me for one . Thank you Philips. Another great product with a great big thumbs up all around.
