Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Very reliable I bought this product in February 2013.Unfortunately the trimmer broke and after contacting Philips they were very helpful in sending a replacement with an extended 3 year warranty.Unfortunately this product has developing a charging fault which had also developed on the original shaver(just outside the 3 year warranty). So I would be very reluctant to purchase this model again. As well I have two very good heads but nothing to power them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good product, would like a standard three pin plug for charger I am 80 and have just changed from using a razor to using this shaver. It gives me a very good shave and overall I am satisfied with it. However I think it could have had a standard UK three pin plug for the charger. Raised it with Philips who basically said no. Perhaps if it had a mini USB plug and socket the other end it would give people the option of using it without an adapter or the supplied plug. For me as being new to electric shaving the plug is a legacy product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Some do but some don't My last Philishave that was first class is the 970, after that it was the cool skin thing one star for that. Now this PT 920 well I give 2 star, the cutting not there it seem as if I am scrapping the hair off my face. The Philishave that were great go back to 1950‘s SC7748 three batteries in a box with a mirror, twin head still works today 6 stars for that. I give 5 stars twin head mains SC 7778. I have others so I do have experience with your shavers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good - but could be better I have had a number of Philips shavers over the years, each one better than the one before. The latest, a PT 920, beats all the rest from the point of view of quality of shave. I cannot fault it there. However, previous models showed a reducing battery level, and this one sadly does not. I can imagine it dying on my suddenly and without warning, just when I don't have the charging lead with me. Why did you take this feature away Philips?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor - head easily becomes detached whilst using shaver Very disappointed with the product, hasn't lasted through the warranty period, the head comes easily detached whilst using the shave hence the reason why I have had to purchase a new shaver. Obviously cannot be without a shaver - maybe Philips will do the decent thing and a refund the cost of the new shaver and pay for postage and I'll return the old one for their review? Look forward to your response Philips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quiet and comfortable to use. I do not think the efficiency is any greater than that of my old noisy, much-loved Philishave 3810, whose battery was getting very short-lived, but it is very comfortable to use and almost disconcertingly quiet. The easy washing under a hot tap seems to be effective and is certainly convenient. The battery charge life is excellent. It was a gift with which I am very pleased. I intend to keep the 3810 in my travel bag, however !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing little shaver Hi, actually it's my first time deciding to go for electrical shaver instead of using traditional blade shaving, to be fear honestly I can tell I was very impressed with the results I have obtained from this machine, shaving quality is superb very close to blade shaving, moreover, it's fully washable and this is a credit, I think I have made a wise choice as a first time buyer for such machine, thank you Philips.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from looks impressive perform badly I bought this at a sale and the reviews by others were good. It is a dry shaver. I used it and three hours later I needed to shave again. It looks as if it shave OK but unlike other Philip shavers you need to shave three times a day to maintain the look of shaved face. Other shaver kept the beard low so that at about at 8 O'cloak at nigh you had a bit of beard. not with this one, very disappointing

Rated 1 out of 5 by from A very disappointing product I have used a Philips Philishave product/s for 62 years and this product has given me the least satisfactory shave of the previous 5 models which I have owned and used.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best yet I have tried several Philips shavers, and an alternative make, but this model is without doubthe the best shaver I have ever used. There are no missed areas and my skin feels lovely and smooth afterwards. The design looks a little clumsy but believe me it really does the business.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fatal flaw! Unlike all the other philips shavers I have ever seen and used or my friends have ever used, the charger that comes with this philips is of a different design and the prongs keep on coming out of the charging socket, as they are just a little bit shorter than all the other chargers. Luckily any other philips charger seems to work instead.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst philishave I ever owned The shaver is useless on soft hairs it simply bends them over and never cuts them off. After about three days I have to revert to my 20 year old philishave. Each philishave I have bought over the years I find that the cutters get worse instead of better. I intend to find out if I can replace the triple cut blade with a single.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great shave but charging electronics unreliable I have now been supplied with my second replacement shaver, both previous shavers stopped holding their charge then suddenly failed to charge. There is an embedded fault in the electronics in the shaver. Very unfortunate. Great support from Philips but I really wanted a shaver that lasted longer than 18 months.
