Philips Shaver series 7000 wet & dry electric shaver with precision trimmer S7370/12 GentlePrecision blade system Comfort rings 50 min cordless use/1 hr charge is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 206.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The product is excellent The only comment I can make about this product is the instruction are poor. There is only a small booklet with mainly pictures in it but little else. It shows the cleaning process by picture but nothing in writing. For example How often to use the main body cleaner and how often to use it. The liquid supplied, when you you change it. I could go on but I think you just have to phone in and ak as I did.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst shaver i have ever had so disappointing Shaver never cuts close , one of the rings popped out of the holder . Good customer service but now retains ring wont hold cutter now when i look for replacement cutter heads they say they are no longer available . I also hate having detachable trimmer heads . I have always bought Philips shavers as i cannot use a wet blade for health reasons but now i need to reconsider.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good all-round Nice light and easy to handle shaver. Not as straight forward to clean as others I've had but not at all difficult. Battery life is good and I get a good clean shave. Probably my only gripe is that the cleaning cartridge doesn't have a resealable lid so once you open it you must keep it upright.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Speed & Cut I have been using this razor now for just over 6 weeks, I find the speed of the cutting blades appears to be slow, (this was also commented on by my wife). I also find that I need to go over areas of the face and neck several times to get rid of small hairs.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lots of good features I am used to an ordinary wet shaver and so the philips shaver was something very new to me. I liked how it is much more for long term use than a standard shaver where I would be regularly throwing out blades. This one just charges once the battery dies and can be used over and over again. It comes with a handy charging cable and has a little charging stand to keep it upright. Added to this it comes with a couple of other heads for shaving, for trimming the beard and sideburns and a cleansing brush for more sensetive skin. It comes in a great handy pouch which keeps everything together. The instructions manual is easy to folld and comes in step by step picture form as well as in written form. The shaver is easy and straightforward to use. It is comfortable to hold and definitely looks modern and great. I found that it took me considerably longer however to shave with than my usual razor. I also felt it did not give me as close of a shave. I could see my facial hairs were collecting in the upper section. It was easy to wash out and I liked how its suitable to use in the shower or the bath but the fact I felt it took soo long is definitely the downside for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great shaver for speed and precision The Phillips Shaver 7000 is by far one of the best shavers I have used and is definitely worth the price. The normal head for just a straight wet shave is the best of the switchable components, it gave a very fast very comfortable wet shave that got more than close enough to the skin with minimal fiddling that you get with other shavers. It was great for the tricky bits and best of all I only had very minimal irritation after use. I found the beard styler to be a bit limited but more than enough for doing just general beard maintenance and styling and I was Impressed again with its effectiveness and accuracy in doing the fiddly jobs. I was initially dubious about the cleansing brush but having used it for several weeks I think it has made a good impact on my skin and become a pleasent end to a daily task. In conclusion this is a stylish easy to use shaver that has saved me a lot of time in use and in maintenance. Quick to charge and easy to clean it performs multiple functions well and is very transportable. But by far the best thing about this shaver is that unlike other simmilar razors I have experienced almost no irritation on my sensitive skin.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointing purchase Decided to change my electric shaver, thought I would go back to what I years ago reliable Phillips Disappointed in its performance. Whilst shaving the heads catch the face sometimes with discomfort. It appears to me the heads, not the metal heads, are too hard and cause the discomfort when using it. In use it takes more than one pass to shave the hairs. Also not the best on the upper lip due to the harshness of the fixed holders of the shaver head. The older floating heads that stood proud of shaver never gave this problem. Minor problem is that the shaver lead is too firm when fitting to the shaver, botheredthat in time this will cause unnecessary wear. Good news shaver holds 5 days power between charging. Shame cannot use whilst connected to mains Overall would not buy this overpriced model again whilst I have no problem with their Shaving head system

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Genuinely Good for Sensitive Skin I’m genuinely impressed with this product. I was skeptical about a shaver that would really reduce irritation and cuts, especially an electric one, but this one has been enjoyable to use. I don’t get little cuts any more, and my skin doesn’t feel aggravated after use. It’s intuitive to use (but the instructions are a little difficult to follow). The battery life is great (although I’ve only been using it for about a month now). I have had some difficulty getting a uniform shave. You move the shaver across your face using a circular motion that’s taken some getting used to, and does have a tendency to leave some areas a little under shaved. I thought my upper lip would be hardest, but actually that’s been fine. My neck has proved to be the patchiest area. I have got better the more I use the shaver but it’s still not perfect. The clipper is great for maintaining sideburns, especially since it has a variety of length settings. My other concern is that I've had a look around and I'm struggling to find replacements for the clipper and the brush. All in all, a great shaver, that is as gentle as it says it is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product and close shave. I have been pleasantly surprised with the Shaver 7000. The easy of which you can swap out the attachments is a definitely a plus point. Attaching and removing the attachments is extremely easy thanks to the simply clink system the shaver utilities. There is a circle opening at the top of the shaver which has a notch that corresponds to the same notch on the base of the attachments. The product is very easy to clean and maintain. To clean the shaver you only need to open the head and wash with water, then leave to air dry. The shaver itself is ergonomically designed and fits well in your hand. The design is very sleek, with a nice white and black finish. There is a led display on the bottom of the shaver which shows the battery level. The display is only visible once the shaver is on. There is a textured back which comes in handy when using the shaver with wet hands. The charge time isn't bad and the battery life between charges is surprisingly good. Overall I am delighted with the Shaver 7000, especially with the quality of shave you get. The reduction in irritation alone would have made this a great buy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does what it says on the tin. Reduces irritation, however could be better. Overall, the product is of excellent quality. Feels robust, the snap on attachments are easy to use, and the battery life is great. It’s also brilliant how the charging time for this product is extremely quick, reducing the need to keep it plugged into the bathroom shaver socket for an extended period. In the past, I have been quite reluctant to use electric shavers for several reasons. One of those reasons is down to the irritation caused by shaving. Of which this shaver manages to overcome. However, the other major underlying reason steering me away from electric shavers, was due to the quality of shave experienced after using the product. Whilst this product ticks all the boxes for reducing irritation. I have found that it leaves half of the hair behind. Particularly on the neck, resulting in going over the same patch twice, three or even four times over. Leading me back towards using my wet razor after a while to tidy matters up a bit, which kind of defeats the object of having this product. Additionally, the one thing I would potentially recommend is that Philips introduce a charge indicator, to indicate how much charge the device has, as once you’re using it, there’s no way of telling how much battery you have left. However the quick 5 – 10 minute charging time easy overcomes this problem, so it is relatively minor if you are to look at things overall. Overall, as mentioned previously, if you like a close shave, then I would say that this product does not offer one as close as my wet razor. However, I would oversee this as having less irritation and discomfort after shaving is something I would favour rather than having a close shave.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The smoothest shave I've ever had I've been using Philips electric shavers for over half a century so it's clear I like the format. Performance has improved gradually over the years, particularly with the advancement in cordless models and floating heads. This one is the best yet and the first I've used to deliver a 'wet shave'. It takes a bit more time - all that slopping on of gel, etc. - but the results have impressed me and I'm converted. Not only is the wet shave using the S7370/12 more comfortable, the heads are also larger and more adaptable to one's face than my previous Arcitec model. The biggest improvement though is the ease of cleaning under the tap, with no need to detach the entire head (as before, which was problematic), just the 'cap' containing the rotary cutter assemblies. The trimmer attachment is also more effective, even if it is slightly more of a hassle to set it up. I'm not sure if the microbead coating does give a smoother shave. I've mostly only used the shaver in 'wet' mode so I'm not sure it would make much difference, but the couple of times I've used it 'dry' does suggest it has an effect then.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for sensitive skin I found this shaver very easy to use, the design and shape makes it comfortable for handling whilst shaving. Comfortable shaving with up to 3 days stubble growth without it cutting or pulling. After using the shaver for the first time my skin felt smooth with no burning sensation. The battery life is good, I've only charged it once since I've had the shaver. The cleaning process is easy, you just place the shaver in the plugged in cleaning pod push the top down and it starts cleaning, the cleaning process is quiet, beware do not not tip the cleaning pod! One niggle I found is with changing the shaver head to the beard trimmer, there is no release button, you have to physically pull the head off, which can be tricky and I worried I may break it. The shaver comes with a cleaning pod, travel case for the shaver, a 3 foil shaving head, beard trimmer, a charging cable and 2 pin plug. One thing I'd like it to come with is a cleaning brush, I've looked at replacement heads, which can be quite pricey.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply the best shaver I've ever owned! Primarily what I look for in a shaver is a one that provides a close clean smooth shave with as less skin irritation as possible which the Philips S7000 shaver achieves excellently. The first thing you notice when you remove it from the box is its sturdy, sleek, compact design and how great it feels in the hand.It comes with 3 attachments - a rotary shaver head,an exfoliator head and a beard styler - which are easy to remove, attach and clean to maintain optimum performance and a pouch to keep everything together when travelling. The device has an inbuilt lithium battery which only needs 1 hour to fully charge and provides enough charge for 3 precision shaves. I've had a few shavers over the years and quite simply this is the most effective, precise, closest electrical shaver I've ever owned.Although it can be used wet or dry I found the best results when using the device was for a 'wet' shave which produced a smooth close clean shave and barely any noticeable skin rash/irritation even in the neck area. This is simply achieved by shaving gently in a circular motion over the skin as per the instructions. As you would expect it does take a little longer to achieve a close shave with 3/4 days growth but the S7000 can handle this but personally I would recommend shaving every other day. The shaver attachment can be cleaned easily under the tap and its advised the heads are replaced every 2 years. The exfoliating experience (removal of dead skin cells) is something that's new to me.Upon using for the first time I found it left my skin feeling soft and smooth and it gave my skin a glowing, healthy appearance which is very much appreciated. Overall I'm very happy and impressed with the results which is why I declare this shaver is the best I've ever owned.
