Philips Sonicare EasyClean Sonic electric toothbrush HX6511/43 1 mode 1 brush head is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 182.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good toothbrush for the price The EASY CLEAN model is the basic entry level of the SONIC toothbrush range, having had an ORAL B toothbrush before I thought I would try the PHILIPS SONIC toothbrush. It has a different way of cleaning teeth and doesn't feel as aggressive on your teeth as the ORAL B. In fact because it cleans and feels different the brush has an optional LEAD IN program for the first week of brushing so you can get used to the difference!! Cleans well and is a good toothbrush for the price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed I bought this on name recognition only. I do not like the way you have to go between the different cycles, clean and whiten. As you do this the toothpaste sprays all over the bathroom mirror!. Your brushes are cheap and do not hold up. I bought this late Oct. and I have already went through 3 brushes bases on the blue replace guide on the brushes. It has a lot of power and appears to clean well, but that truly is the only positive I can say.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reasonably priced and efficient Nothing prepared me for the tickling vibrations of this brush. Initially I didn't think I'd get on with it but after 3 or 4 days I hardly noticed it. I feel this tooth brush cleans my teeth better than my previous electric brushes. It really gives me the same feeling as just having been to the Hygienist. I'm now encouraged to spend more time caring for my teeth because - after 70 odd years - my teeth feel really clean. Really chuffed!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good all-round electric toothbrush This is my first electric toothbrush. It took a couple of days to get used to a new brushing technique, but once mastered the toothbrush is easy to use and leaves my teeth feeling very clean. It's light and easy to hold, and the special features (easy start, smartimer and quadpacer) are helpful. The toothbrush head is a little too large for me, but I believe that smaller heads are available. All in all, I am very happy with the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Says what it says on the box This is my 2nd toothbrush with phillips. I have tried a few others but they don't compare with the results I'm getting with soniccare (diamond). I was without one for 5 months as mine broke, and notice staining and the sense that my teeth didn't feel clean. So within a day of using this again I can already feel and see the difference for the better. Thank you phillips x

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Feedback reply Hello, The product itself is good, however it does take some time to get used to .I find it a bit noisy when in my mouth and it sometimes catches the tops of my teeth when cleaning them and makes and even louder noise. However the overall feeling is that once used to the above, my teeth are seeming to be that bit cleaner and I am now getting to be happier using it .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Philips Sonic Toothbrush This sonic toothbrush charges quickly and has excellent safety features included for properly-timed, therapeutic teeth brushing. The quadrant alarms are easily audible and detectable over a two-minute period. Teeth feel wonderfully clean after routine brushing - thoroughly recommended. The mains charger is an added bonus over batteries.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great improved design I bought this on the recommendation of my dentist. I was unsure that it would make any difference from my previous rechargeable toothbrushes but I am very impressed. The shape of the head gets to those awkward smaller places. The timer is a good idea, time to move on to the next quarter of your mouth. The only downside for me is the smooth barrel, when coated in toothpaste I keep dropping the toothbrush into the sink. I think a ridged barrel like the old ones would be better. My dentist was impressed with the improved condition of my gums in just 2 weeks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EASY AND COMFORTABLE TO USE As someone who has just turned to electric tooth brushing, I am more than satisfied with the result, and feel that the model itself is well made and the instructions for a new user are easy to follow. Philips has always delivered top notch products, and this is no exception.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I'm glad I bought this electric toothbrush Happy with the results of using this electric toothbrush to clean my teeth. Still find that after brushing, flossing brings out a considerable amount of debris which the brushing has failed to dislodge, although my brushing technique may account for that.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very pleased Very pleased with the product. It appears to be doing what I wanted. If, in 6-months time when I visit my dentist, he no longer needs to scrape plaque from my teeth, it will prove to have served its purpose and will justify a 5-star rating all round.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent toothbrush A big improvement on my last Oral B toothbrush which stopped working one day after the one year warranty expired. The timer is an excellent feature. Its relatively gentle but high frequency action makes my gums and mouth feel much cleaner.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job well End of the day this is a toothbrush, so it should do that job well and it does. Cleaning comes from the fact that the bristles vibrate, giving a good cleaning experience from just moving brush over tooth surfaces, no effort required, just patience. At first i wasn't making the 2 minute timer but you soon get used to it, which is a good thing as it makes sure you give your teeth a good clean and the timer is split into 4 30 second segments which is a really good idea. Good battery life too, over a month in and i reckon I have charged it once and not so long since at that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Five year life? I have bought this toothbrush both for myself and for a friend. We both find it excellent, but both failed after five years, for different reasons. My friend only charged hers when it needed it, and it finally refused to be charged any more, so presumably the battery failed. I kept mine on charge all the time; the battery was fine, but the toothbrush suffered a catastrophic mechanical failure. However, I think that five years is a reasonable lifetime, and we have both replaced the toothbrush with another identical one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My third sonicare This is my third sonicare. To be honest I do wince a little at the cost but to be fair when I think of the dentist I wince a lot harder so I do pay for the pleasure of less visits over the past what must be 10 years now. The clean feeling is unsurpassed by any of the rival products so I always end up back with the same toothbrush. There must be a hidden timer that after about three years just says "that's it buy a new one". And I do.
