Unreliable
Have had four replacements in just over two years. All the previous ones replaced under the original guarantee but Philips have now only offered a 25% discount. Recharchable batteries gave up each time. Shave fine but I always thought Philips meant reliability !!!

Issues with design
Really enjoyed using this shaver. The main problem is that it dies after 12 months or so,. In fact I had 2 replacements plus the original shaver in the time the guarantee expired. The latest replacement has just died again after 10 months. Not sure if it is water getting into the casing somehow, but clearly there is an issue.
Having said this I will probably buy another one, and make sure I register it, because 3 shavers for the price of one (spread over 3 years) is cheaper than buying disposables!

Good shave!
This is the second of the same model I have had and it definitely does the job and performs well. Good shave, good battery life and rugged construction. My first one stopped working after a number of years and customer services were very helpful and helped me to get it replaced. I highly recommend this product and Philips in general.

Shaves well at a good price
This is a neat unit, providing a reasonably close shave and very good battery life. Ability to shave wet is a big bonus. My only negative is that the battery failed at the one year stage. However, Philips are replacing the product and I am impressed.

It died after 10 shaves
Nice shaver, won’t charge at all after using it about 10 times. Tried the trouble shooting, replaced the charger but it’s still dead as a door nail. Can’t get onto the online chat either which in reality makes it an expensive mistake.

Bought a 7000 series 6 months ago. It was a disaster. Bought this one as a replacement. This one is far better in my opinion. I think the problem with the 7000 is the cutters are to far apart. This shaver works good for me.

renew shaving head
After 4 years renewed the cutters on my wet/dry shaver, worth doing , should have done it sooner. Easy to change, you then see all the gunge left in the old ones; I now spin the shaver in the water after each use.

Good but short life
I found this shaver to be excellent in use no issue on that side.
However, it only lasted for four years developing an electrical issue and for the price and from Philips, I would have expected much better.

Has been a good shaver
After cleaning, I have had water coming out of the bottom! I also now have an orange light showing (three small orange lights together) it is fully charged, can you tell if this a fault

Nice small shaver with decent battery life, best used with gel or oil dry shaving can leave you with some burn.
