Does the Philips Lumea hair removal treatment hurt?

    Published on 09 April 2024

If you are concerned about the Philips Lumea treatment being painful, don't worry. Some users of Lumea described feeling 'a warm sensation', 'prickling' or 'itching' etc. during or after treatment. In most cases, these effects disappeared within an hour.

    Test your skin

To get used to Philips Lumea, we recommend that you first make test flashes near the area you are intending to treat. You can then continue using it at the highest setting that still feels comfortable and does not give side effects.
