Love this product - yes admittedly it is huge!! but once set up I just keep ironing till I am done. I am left handed so I did remove the cord holder. The wings are great for shirts and uniforms. As my partner is 6'2" his trousers are long - this is ideal for jeans and trousers. Just what I expected and good quality.

Very stiff to put up & down. Feel the handle that puts the ironing board up & down should be on other side.

I took delivery of this ironing board recently to go with the Philips Perfectcare Steam Generator Iron, I must say this ironing board is huge, but when folded down it is not much bigger than your standard ironing board but it is very sturdy and well made.
This is the Rolls Royce of ironing boards in my opinion, it has fold-out wings on the tip which make short work of ironing shirts, can't believe nobody has ever thought of this before, it also has a handy little side pocket can hold your tv remote, starch etc, there is a decent size fold out rack on the back end for hanging your ironed garments and a fold up pole to guide your cable through so it never gets in your way, this can be set up on either side of the board making it suitable for both left and right handed people.
Ironing has never been a favourite chore of mine but this ironing board along with the steam generator iron has certainly made this task much easy. Highly recommended.

Rated 2 out of 5 by JMT0 Problem with surface of ironing board
The underside of the ironing board is a light mesh and there is not any support under this mesh at the end nearest the iron platform. This results in a significant hollow between the edges of the ironing board and the centre of the board. For me this is a problem when ironing anything is this area of the board.
Note that at the shaped end of the board there is a cross member under the mesh that supports it from dropping down thereby avoiding the problem at the other end of the board.
The board is very well constructed and robust but the sagging area by the iron platform is a very bad design flaw.

Overall I really like the board. its very sturdy the cover is fantastic and the extra width is ideal. I thought id use the shirt flaps more but i still find ironing shirts easier without them.
the only thing id probably change is to have the curved end of the board slightly thinner/more tapered as i find that this board is too wide to slip smaller items such as children's clothes over.

I was very excited to buy this product but there are two things that let it down massively.
1. It's way too heavy
2. The main function of the bits that pop out for shirt ironing are flawed because they don't lie flat with the board, therefore you have creases in the shirt!!
A complete design failure and an expensive experiment on my part
