Looks beautiful, this is what seduced me to buy this iron. I wish I had not!
You cannot control the temperature it is set at automatic so not hot enough to get out stubborn creases or iron thick fabrics or dry from wet. Very dissapointed.

Awful. Steam output is useless. Cannot adjust temperature so not hot enough when ironing e.g. jeans and bed sheets. Doubled my ironing time.

Very simple to use.. just pour the water and switch on. Very lightweight compared to my previous model which stopped working. No messing about with temperature settings. Only used once so will see how it goes. Normally you look to set it upright after each use but this one you just leave it flat... still got the old style habit of trying to put it upright after each stroke of ironing... bit of a weird feeling of leaving it flat on ironing board.
Seems to have a self clean which I have not used yet.
Seems good so far.

Simple to use straight from the box. This is a huge piece of equipment to deal with a huge pile of ironing. No need to read instructions, stickers on iron explain clearly how this iron works, I did however read the instructions-techno geek! I loved this iron from the onset, plug in, switch on and it beeps to inform you its ready for use. It has a huge water basin, no need to continually fill up the iron whilst ironing, the simple press of the button adds steam and it irons all without the need to change the dial, I feel this is a huge benefit, you just glide through the pile of clothes in no-time. The iron itself feels no different in weight to my "old Philips" although I feel I could be ironing for a living! I liked the feel of the gel type handle and super thick flex, in particular I like the fact I can turn it off and on without having to pull out the plug!

As an ex Soldier, I insist on my ironing being to perfection, and this is the Iron I wish I'd had during my service, The Iron, considering its size is lightweight. The Optimaltemp technology is a superb feature, allowing ironing, as it is on all types of fabric with having to change settings. The steam function allows the iron to cut through the creases 1st time without having to keep going over the item that is being ironed. Although I buy Ironing water rather than tap water, the water tank size is great and saves time having by not having to keep refilling it. With the ease of use and the power of this iron, I certainly seem to be saving time on ironing a family of four's weekly clothing. I would certainly recommend this iron to any of my friends.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Redeye142 This is a revolutionary product for the daily chore of ironing but has limits
I think the world of this iron but its brilliance is also the thing that stops it being perfect. It has no heat control, and benefits from being able to iron without adjustment, any garment without scorching or sticking. However through necessity, I have to tumble dry many cotton shirts and these just need more heat to get rid of those wrinkles. Also the iron regularly spits water out over the garments I am ironing and because of the moderate heat setting this takes some time to iron dry. This of course could be a faulty part within the iron. I think this would be perfect if it had a boost button whereby for the odd times you need extra heat you could boost for a short period of time before reverting to the standard temperature automatically.
