This shaver is a very good product. That is until the trimmer and foil become blunt! Then you have to skulk round the internet looking for a replacement which costs nearly as much as the original unit.
You can buy replacement blades for all the mens products, why should the women have to replace the whole unit when it becomes blunt?! Poor show Philips.

The product is useless and does not shave any hair , the battery takes an entire day to charge , cleaning the product with the brush is very tiresome you just need to wash it off but that too does not clean properly.
It does not nick the skin but is very hard on the skin and inflames your skin. Price wise was very expensive but no results , using a razor is better and more economical than the product

Rated 1 out of 5 by Fi99 Glides smoothly over hair, but leaves them uncut.
I have persevered with this product for months and have finally given up. It glides up my legs but leaves the hair untouched. Yes, my skin is dry and free from grease, yes I'm holding it the correct way and going in the right direction, but it simply does not work. Waste of money.

Very happy with my shaver. Was initially apprehensive as I haven't use an electric shaver for about 15 years - thankfully they've come a long way in that time! I get the best result dry, in a cool room (so skin goose-bumps slightly) at a cat-stroking speed (but shaving on both the back and forth stroke). Comparable with wet razor and leaves skin smooth for about 2-3 days. Takes about 5-7 mins to do both legs from the knee down but I find that running time is closer to 30mins. Nice to hold (I hold it like a large crayon). It's a little noisy but no more so than I would expect from this kind of product. My only gripe is that there is no protective cap. @Philips - Suggest either providing a more robust, padded storage pouch, or plastic clip-on cap for better protection. Both would be fab but the current 'shower curtain' drawstring bag + open-foil head are a lacking combo. But saying that, it's still a very nice, useful product.

Having used a normal razor for several years when my last Philips shaver, which I was given as a gift about 40 years ago, had the shaving head broken I decided to go for another Philips. Although it is OK I do not feel it is as good as my old one. I was able to use my old one in Canada as it plugged into the shaving plugs here and overseas. I couldn't find a similar one but maybe didn't look hard enough. Will keep using the shaver of course but I don't find it shaves as close either.

Rated 1 out of 5 by MrsLee85 Doesn't work
Bought this shaver as I have sensitive skin so can't use wax or razors. It does not even remove the hairs on my legs. Just about does underarms. I am so disappointed that I have spent my money on this product. I have tried every which way for the shaver to work but just glides over my legs, leaving the hairs exactly where they are. Have tried cleaning it but doesn't make a difference. Terrible product.

While I think this is the best product I could buy on my budget, I am disapointed a cover for the cutting head is not supplied,
The product was charged ready to used which tells me the battery charger is good quality. The leg shave is perfect. I am over the age of 50 and found extra care with a Bikini & underarm shave is needed as the top of a skin tag could be nicked.
Therefore the product is good quality but needs a cover to protect the head.
I will try another Philips product for my facial whiskers & bikini line.
