Rated 2 out of 5 by Clarachops It does not take a minute to clean....more like 20
Even when pouring water in it after use (like it says in the instructions to clean it in a minute) you still have to dismantle it to wash each part as well as empty the pulp collecter. When you do dismantle it, be warned....you WILL get covered in juice & it WILL drip everywhere. Also, if you juice too much & over fill the pulp collector without noticing it, it leaks pulp & your juice ends up lumpy.
The juice is lovely (TIP dont put in unpeeled citrus!) but the cleaning is time consuming.

So annoyed. Hardly used juicer. Just bought load of fruit and veg and the plastic strap on one side pinged off and totally unrepairable and now cannot use juicer. Was given as a present. So no receipt. Very disappointed

Ive always used a philips juicer. I bought this one thinking i was getting a better product but i could not move it, as the suction on the base of the unit was too strong. Now one of the handles have snapped off. The juicer can not be used if the handles are not securely closed tight onto the machine. Phillips why are you not even selling replacement handles? Im really disappointed.
This has been a waste of money and i cant even find my receipt

I've had the juicer for approximately one month. Initially I was impressed but after a couple of weeks I am ready to put it the bin!
It does not now wash under a running tap but initially it needs a scrub and then it goes in the dishwasher. There were no detailed use instructions in the box and eventually found some on you tube! A jug was not included despite being pictured on the box! Anyone elderly will struggle with removing the grater!
I wish I had bought another brand, Phillips customer service were unhelpful when I rang.
Anyone considering purchasing this juicer, I would suggest they look elsewhere!

I bought this product about year ago and have only just started using it..Looks smart, works well and easy to clean.
Unfortunately the motor burned out after a week.. I thought it was going to catch fire as there was smoke pouring from it. There should be a safety recall on this product as it's surly a fire hazard and reading other reviews it appears to be a common fault.
So come on Philips ... get this product recalled and refund my money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Walley Plastic side handles securing juicer jug to base motor broke after one week
There is a Serious Design Fault in this product. The two plastic side securing handles fixing the jug to the base motor are very flimsy and have a poor connection which is so easy to snap off and then is un-repairable even with super glue. rendering the whole unit to be unusable.
I thought that Philips products were reasonably good but this juicer made in China has been an expensive mistake and there must be something lacking in Philips product design and testing to permit this model( but trendy looking design) which is not fit for purpose!!
The handles and securing system is too lightweight for the heavy suckered motor base and so break off when moved.

Bought our juicer from Argos. Loved everything about it. Easy to use, easy to clean, great design, great results. Two weeks later...motor burnt out!! Taking it back for a refund. Very saddened, thought we were on to a winner.

Love this appliance!! Almost perfect. Would love to be able to not have to peel certain fruits before placing in the juicer e.g. Pineapple or Kiwi fruit. Secondly Ginger fibres can be a little stubborn to remove, but all in all this is not intended to be an industrial use device so it is perfect for my needs.
