As with everyone else, I've suffered a paper jam. I can't fix it at my end. It's a couple of months old but I have to send it back which will take 3 weeks. Not much good for a fax that is used daily. Philips' response was that I should buy 2 fax machines!!
Great idea, I'll buy two of everything I have in case it's as useless as this.

Won't pick up incoming faxes...paper constantly jams.....replaced the cart and next day display said it was empty..
Telephone part works though

This product is the same as the Xerox IF6025. It too is rubbish. It constantly jams from the first week. On the second ink cartridge now and the paper feeder has completely failed. Save your money and buy something better.

This fax is rubbish. It takes longer to send or recieve a fax than any other that i have had. Getting replacement ink is not so easy. Noisy and jams/ We have had it for 5 weeks

Just bought the Philips Fax jet 525 as had so urgent business. Spent most time trying to get it to work, that is send fax. But never worked...always shows Tx error.
