Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed2013 Catridge replacement, an important feature of a printer is self defeating. Would not recommend
There are problems with paper pickup and feed, as paper jam is prominent with this printer without obvious reasons but with beep, beep....... sounds.
Secondly, using a digital card to ensure a catridge change is a bit suspicious. For example, in my last printout, there was no indication of the catridge had run out, but only to return to do a copy was impossible except I had to replace the cartridge. It would appear that a print limit had been preset regardless. The rationale of excellent product and customer satisfaction does not appear to be the goal of this product, except of that of greed. The cartridge is quite expensive and customers are forced to purchase another at prescribed interval even when original one had not been exhausted is simply mad!

I've used lots of laser printers over the years but needed a new printer in a hurry and made the mistake of buying one of these.
As other reviewers have said it's fine for the occasional print job of a few pages. The scanner is adequate. Now for the negatives.
Beep, beep, beep beep...that's the most common noise from the MFD 6020. You can't turn the beep off and it's infuriating. Whenever something goes wrong it beeps and things go wrong a lot.
Print jobs are often interrupted for no apparent reason. Quite often there are reports of paper jams that don't exist. Sometimes a print job will continue sometimes it won't. So you clear the non existent paper jam (by removing the toner for the 12th time today) and the printer 'forgets' what it's supposed to be doing.
If you need to change the toner beware. The cartridges are expensive and you need a special 'change toner card' which has to be inserted into a slot to allow the user to change to toner. Does the printer come with this card? Of course not.
What about printing? The results are actually OK (when it decides to print) but it has one very bad fault. It can't print straight as the paper handling path is so poorly designed. If you need to print forms that have to be cut e.g. four A6 forms on one A4 page you are going to go mad.
I find it amazing that such a poorly designed machine was ever released. The engineers responsible should hang their heads in shame.
The MFD 6020 is the worst laser printer ever made.

It's work fine if you print one or few pages. Jams most all the time when printing 15+ pages. To change cartrige is problem to. If you are only User, don't buy it, if want problems buy it :)

Have a business and need the quickness and efficiency of a toner printer.,..This one is awful. keeps malfunctioning when talking to the pc and get printer not responding every 5minutes. also it keeps stopping whilst printing and saying paper jam when there isnt one.You have to buy a new toner refil with a microchip otherwise it wont work which stops you from cost effectively buying your toner and refilling yourself. I have just about had enough of the piece of rubbish and am going to very happily take a hammer to it as soon as I have purchased a new one. (it wont be a philips)

Rated 1 out of 5 by Ionel Has all the features, few work ...
Drivers are very poor, especially for the scanner. You need to reboot windows all the time - otherwise you can't use the scanner.
The wireless feature is a joke.... it's ridiculously hard to setup, doesn't work in all the advertised modes (only works in adhock mode which is kinda useless) and it fails all the time. It's impossible to use !
And it jams the paper if you want to print on both sides .... really bad.

we have 2 of these, one ran out of ink so we wanted to swap the toners. tried swapping the toners over 1 will work ok the other won't accept the toner unless i slip in a new toner card, which i don't have, swap them back won't accept the original toner that is supposed to be empty but works on the other printer. absolute nightmare.
waste of money.

It jams, has a mind of its own, scans are not high quality. It's bulky and the cartridges are expensive. Just don't bother.
