OK when it works Sound quality very good when it's working, but AirPlay keeps dropping out...very frustrating. Apparently this is not just my setup, it's a known problem. Cannot recommend this unit until Philips have sorted this problem with a firmware update. 10 October 2012

Connect to the wifi 20% of the time These speakers never works when u want to use them. The green light keep flashing quickly for ages and sometime flash red after a while. Impossible to reset or change the wifi settings. And it's not even possible to play from a plugged device if the speaker is not connected to the wifi. Useless! 1 October 2012

Constantly stops working Dies off randomly, and takes a power off and on to come back to life reliably. Sounds OK but pretty useless. 19 September 2012

Erratic When it plays, the sound is great. The setup was extremely easy. But all too often I have to switch this system on and off. When things start going wrong: Songs get interrupted frequently (very annoying for a music lover). Error connecting from iTunes. Fidelio disappears from network altogether. It's midday, and I've had to restart it 4 times already. I love the design, I love the sound, but can't live with this constant failing. This baby is going back to the store today. I've had a look at network setup, but to no avail. I've experienced this when network was used exclusively for music between Fidelio and my devices. I have an iPod, iPad and Mac with iTunes. Problems seems more frequent when playing from iDevices though. 30 January 2012

Philips Gide io Does what it says on the tin, great sound ease of use, but had to begrudgingly return it as not compatible with I pad 2 27 November 2011

Fantastic docking station Works from the box with very simple airplay set-up. All devices automatically connected. Easy to use. Lovely sound quality. 17 November 2011
