Philips AVENT Comfort Single electric breast pump SCF332/01 Natural Includes 4 oz bottle
A Fantastic Breast Pump
Having used both the Philips Avent single electric breast pump and the comfort manual breast pump, I was eager to use the new single comfort electric breast pump and see you it differed.
It looks very similar to the other two pumps I had used but with the comfort electric pump there is no manual handle. I was pleased about this as I'd found it quite tiring to use handle on the manual pump and it quite tricky to find a suitable rhythm on the electric pump.
The control unit is easy to use and allows the user to find their preferred rhythm. It's backlit and has raised buttons so you can use it in darker rooms, ideal if expressing at night. Especially as its quite quiet compared to other electric breast pumps. It's very simple to connect the control unit to the pump.
The pump itself is easy to assemble and disassemble. And easy to clean and sterilise.
I kept mine plugged in next to the sofa so when I was watching my favourite tv programmes I could express easily in comfort. It can be battery operated but I didn't try this.
I would definitely recommend the comfort electric breast for those who express.

Easy to use and comfortable
I've previously used other electric and manual breast pumps and I found this so much easier to use. Being able to sit back and relax meant I felt much calmer when expressing which in turn meant I released more milk. I would definitely recommend it.

A Fantastic product! Even better then the last Avent electric pump I have!
Firstly I am really appreciative of being given the chance to try this pump as I would not have purchased it as I already have an Avent electric and manual breast pump in the old style. But having used this pump I was pleasantly surprised. It was really easy to use very effective at expressing a good volume of milk in a short amount of time and extremely comfortable. You do need to make sure that the pump is centrally placed on the breast to make sure the nipple does not rub which can be a little tricky but other than that it is a great product. If there was something I really did need to be negative about it would be that the plastic housing on the end of the electric pump which fits onto the bottle is difficult to remove without removing the rubber diaphragm too. But if your carefull and take your time it can be done. I am really surprised at how impressed I am with this product as I was happy with previous Avent products I’ve purchased but I have to say this is better as its faster, more comfortable and the volume of milk I can express in minutes is much more! Well done to Avent for developing a product which makes things easier for breast feeding mums.

extremely comfortable and effective
After trying other manual and electric pumps previously, I was extremely impressed with the philips comfort elctric pump. It is so gentle and does not leave that sore feeling that other pumps do. At first I was concerned that I wouldnt get any milk off because of this. I got more milk off in less time that I have ever done with another pump. It has a really good seal too so doesnt leak when pumping, infact its so good Ive done pumped as a passenger in the car many times.

great for smaller busted ladies
I was really eager to start using this pump as my manual one was so time consuming and I had heard alot of good things about electric pumps.
The pump is attractively designed and very easy to put together (the instructions were very clear). The device has a lovely soft glow light, making it easy to use in low light, which is perfect as I need to express first thing in the morning. Also, the device is fairly quiet, even on the highest suction setting, which, again, is ideal for morning use.
I was really excited to start using as it states on the box that you can sit back and relax whilst the pump works its magic. I assume this is true, for ladies with a smaller chest! However my bust size is 34 G and it kept slipping off so I had to lean forward and hold it in place (just like my manual pump) I used the device when I had a very full supply of milk but I felt that the suction want strong enough for my liking (again I got the same amount of milk, in the same amount of time from my manual pump).
However I would definitely choose this one over my manual, as it does most of the work for me!
All in all I wasn't wowed but I found it a really great alternative (and a much needed break for my hands ;-) ) .

A comfortable, effective pump which allows you to relax whilst expressing.
When I first started using the product, I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that I really could sit back in a relaxed position rather than having to lean forward 'into' the pump itself as I had to with my old pump.
I found the stimulation setting comfortable and the three different settings useful as I don't always need to use the strongest pump setting.
Although the pump is quite loud, it doesn't wake my baby if he's sleeping in the same room and I found the pump to be very effective; therefore the many pros definitely outweigh that one minor con.

simple and comfortable to use
My breasts took a couple of attempts before I had a constant supply of milk but when established it was very easy and comfortable to use. I was able to sit back and watch TV without having to sit forward like my previous pump so my back didn't ache. The only downside was the assembling and disassembling of the silicon diaphragm cup from the pump unit it was a bit tight and fiddly. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

An excellent product for expressing milk in a comfortable, quick and gentle manner!
An easy to assemble and use breast pump. Pump can be effectively and comfortably used when sitting ensuring a relaxing experience. The silicone cushion is soft and gentle on the skin - in fact it can hardly be felt next to the skin even when the pump is in action. I personally favour the fastest suction as this is still a comfortable experience for me whilst expressing a good quantity of milk. Overall I am extremely pleased with my experience of the new Philips Avent comfort electric breast pump.
