Philips AEDs second

HeartStart FRx AED

The rugged, lightweight and reliable and portable defibrillator, HeartStart FRx AED (automated external defibrillator) is designed to help you save lives quickly, wherever sudden cardiac arrest occurs. With SMART analysis, the FRx AED defibrillator measures the resistance of the patient’s body and adjusts to deliver the best shock to the heart every time.

The AED provides guidance on CPR and analyzes a person’s heart rhythm to determine whether a shock is required. For AED use on infants/children, an optional Pediatric Key is available, so you will save money not having to stock both adult and infant/child pads. What makes Philips AEDs different than other AEDs?

Youtube video fo AED

HeartStart AEDs (automated external defibrillators) are designed to treat the most common type of sudden cardiac arrest, ventricular fibrillation or irregular heart rhythms. Using the same technology as first responders and emergency service use, the AED devices provide an electrical current through electrode pads, as well as guide you on how to perform CPR to help you save a life. Studies show that CPR and a shock from a defibrillator within minutes of collapse can increase survival rate by 90%.4 The right AED should be a vital part of your first aid kit.
