In 2024, our refurbishment program has reused 10.5 tonnes of materials from returned devices – that’s more than 30,000 refurbished Philips personal health products finding new homes.

 

We refurbish open box returns from customers and retailers (including from our subscription plans). For calculating the waste reduction impact, we consider the weight of these returned products without accessories and any packaging materials. Only Philips refurbished Personal Health products are included in this impact calculation.
