Evening dip in energy

Low energy levels in the evening may cause troubles for engaging in social activities.

Some people frequently fall asleep in front of the television in the evening, do not visit friends and hardly go out to the theatre. Low energy levels in the evening may disturb your social life. Not listening to the internal signal to go to bed early often results in a short night of sleep, since waking up is still early. Although evening dips in energy may occur at all ages, it is particularly common in older age. An advanced sleep signal of the biological clock in your brain, or a reduced arousal signal from your brain to keep you awake, could be the cause.
