Optimal range outdoors
The specified range is only valid outdoors in open air. Change the position of one or both units to optimise the range.
Calculate your range
Inside your house the operating range is limited by the number and type of walls and/or ceilings in between:
- Wood, plaster, cardboard, glass (without metal, wires or lead)
- Material thickness < 30cm (12in) will have loss of range between 0-10%
- Brick, plywood
- Material thickness < 30cm (12 in) will have loss of range between 5-35%
- Reinforced concrete
- Material thickness < 30cm (12 in) will have loss of range between 30-100%
- Metal grilles or bars
- Material thickness < 30cm (12in) will have loss of range between 30-100%
- Metal or aluminum sheets
- Material thickness < 1cm (0.4in) will have loss of range of 100%
