Sonicare PowerUp Sonic electric toothbrush

1 mode, 1 brush head HX3130/02

My Philips Sonicare PowerUp is loud and vibrates strongly

The Philips Sonicare PowerUp toothbrush makes a lot of brush strokes per minute. This comes with its sounds. However, you should make sure your PowerUp is not broken.

Manual and electric toothbrushes

The sound and vibration of the Philips Sonicare PowerUp may seem unusual to you if you are used to a manual toothbrush. However, you can check a few things to make sure everything is operating normally.

Is the brush head securely placed?

Make sure that the brush head is securely installed and not loose or wobbly.

Remove the travel cap

Check to see if the transparent plastic travel cap is removed from your brush head.

Replace brush heads after 3 months of use

As brush heads wear out, they may start to produce more noise. A noisy handle may indicate that it is time to replace your brush head. Make sure to use genuine Philips brush heads only.

If replacing your brush head did not solve the issue, please contact Philips Consumer Care.
