I had a headache/nausea after using my goLITE BLU

    Published on 2017-11-06

Some people are sensitive to light, which can result in a headache and/or nausea. This is easily fixed. Just take a day or two off from using the goLITE BLU light.

If you have a light that has adjustable intensity, reduce the intensity of your light. If your headaches or nausea continue, try reducing the intensity even more.

If reducing the intensity doesn't work, you can also reduce the amount of time that you are exposed to the light. Sometimes you need to reduce both the intensity and the time. Because light therapy is a very individualized treatment, you may have to try it a few different ways to find out which is best.

It is also important to remember to have another
light on in the room. This reduces the contrast in the room, reducing the strain on your eyes.
