If you use the Philips curler correctly, you will not damage your hair. However, curlers are powerful styling tools and must always be used with care.
Give your hair a break
As with all curlers that reach salon high temperatures, we recommend that you give your hair a full day's or night's rest to recover between curling sessions.
Avoid heat damage
Do not leave the curler in your hair for more than 10 seconds. If you do not achieve the desired look the first time, repeat the same procedure again after 20 seconds.
Give your hair some extra love
Excessive curling can lead to split ends and dried-out hair. So, make sure that you take proper care of your hair by using a repairing or moisturising shampoo. Before curling, use a heat protecting serum to minimise damage. It is also a good idea to give your hair a treatment masque once in a while.
Keep your Philips styler clean
Dirt and dust could damage your curler and a damaged curler could cause hairs to break or hair to get caught in it. So make sure that you keep your curler clean.
