Troubleshooting

The plate coating wears off on my Philips Straightener

It is normal for the coating on your Philips Straightener to slowly wear away over time. There are, however, ways that you can help prevent this.

Keep the plates in good condition

Maintain your Philips straightener by cleaning the plates/barrel with a damp cloth.

Does not affect the performance

If the coating wears off, this will not affect the performance of your straightener and it is still safe to use on your hair.
