My health watch is detecting an activity that I am not doing (e.g cycling activity while I am driving a car or walking behind a stroller). How is this possible and does this increase my active minutes?

    Published on 2017-05-18

The health watch is monitoring the repetitive movements. These movements can be recognized as a specific activity like cycling, walking or running. This can also happen when you are making similar movements that are recognized as one of the activities.

Active minutes will be counted when the heart rate is above 50% of your maximal heart rate for at least 10 minutes and are not impacted by wrong activity recognition. Active minutes will at least maintain your physical condition.
