My Philips Humidifier's low water light indicator does not work

    Published on 25 October 2022
If your Philips Humidifier or 2-in-1 Purifier & Humidifier will not display or blink a low water indication, or if the indicator is constantly on after refilling, there might be a simple solution. Discover how to mend it yourself below.
There is a float (a floating ball) inside your Philips Humidifier's tank. When the water level becomes low, the float activates a water level switch and this will activate the indication.

This floating ball can become stuck and fail to activate the water level switch. When this happens, your humidifier will not display a low water indicator.

Also, the stuck floating ball may not float up and can cause the indicator light to be on constantly after refilling. You can solve this by moving the floating ball with your hand.
