    No sound from my Philips player during a DVD playback

    • Check whether the DVD is formatted with DTS (Digital Theatre System) > Try another DVD > Use a coaxial cable (not supplied) to connect the player to a digital system through the coaxial jack of the player * Press the Audio button on the remote control repeatedly to get the sound * Deactivate the mute function if it is active * If a headphone is connected to the player, disconnect it
