    How to transfer music to SD card in my GoGear player?

    IMPORTANT: Please do not use the SD card reader to transfer music onto the SD card for playback on your GoGear. All music MUST be transferred via the Windows Media Player following the instructions below. Transfer music with Windows Media Player 9.0 1. Hook up your GoGear with the PC via the supplied USB cable. Make sure your GoGear is inserted with a battery with sufficient voltage level. Launch the Windows Media Player 9.0 installed in your computer. IMPORTANT: Please make sure that your GoGear is connected to the computer before launching of Windows Media Player or else the device will not be recognized by Windows Media Player. 2. Click Copy to CD or Device or on the File menu, point to Copy, and then click Copy to Portable Device. 3. In the Items to Copy pane, in the drop-down list, click the playlist, category, or other item that you want to copy. 4. Clear the check boxes next to any files you do not want to copy. 5. In the Items on Device pane, in the drop-down list, click to select Philips SD to copy files to the SD card 6. Click the Copy button. Windows Media Player using the Philips Plug in to verify if there is sufficient storage space on the device to copy the selected files. If there is sufficient space, the files are converted (if necessary) and copied to the portable device. 7. Repeat steps 2-5 for any other items that you want to copy to your portable device. 8. The Items on Device pane typically refreshes automatically when you connect a device to your computer, when you disconnect a device from your computer, or when you insert or remove storage media from a connected device. If the display does not refresh automatically, you can press F5 to refresh the display manually. 9. Once the transfer is completed, close the Windows Media Player 10. Click on the removal icon on the task tray to stop and eject the jukebox. When a message appears saying the USB device can now be safely removed from the system, click OK. 11. Unplug the GoGear from the PC and enjoy the music on your GoGear. Transfer music with Windows Media Player 10.0 1. Hook up your GoGear with the PC via the supplied USB cable. IMPORTANT: Please make sure that your GoGear is connected to the computer before launching of Windows Media Player or else the device will not be recognized by Windows Media Player. 2. Click Sync or on the File menu, point to CDs and Devices, and then click Synchronize?. 3. In the Items to Copy pane, in the drop-down list, click the playlist, category, or other item that you want to copy. 4. Click the check boxes next to any files you want to copy. 5. In the Items on Device pane, in the drop-down list, click to select Philips SD to copy files to. 6. Click the Start Sync button.
