    Published on 2017-08-24
    1. Connect the open end of the RF/coaxial/satellite cable to the aerial input (ANT. IN) on the back of the set top box 2. Only for cable or terrestrial STB: use another RF/coaxial cable, connect one end to the aerial output (ANT. OUT) on the back of the set top box and connect the other end to the aerial input (ANT. IN) on the back of the videorecorder 3. Only for satellite STB: if you have cable reception as well connect the open end of the RF/coaxial cable to the aerial input (ANT. IN) on the back of your videorecorder. If you only have satellite reception go to step 5. 4. Use a second RF/coaxial cable, connect one end to the aerial output (ANT. OUT) on the back of the videorecorder and connect the other end to the aerial input (ANT.IN) on the back of the TV 5. Use a euro-connector/scart cable, connect one end to the euro-connector/scart socket of the videorecorder (AV 1) and the other end to the EXT1 (or AV1) euro-connector/scart socket on the back of the TV 6. Use a second euro-connector/scart cable, connect one end to the euro-connector/scart socket of the set top box (TO TV) and the other end to the second euro-connector/scart socket (AV 2) on the back of the videorecorder 7. Switch on the devices and press the external button ( or AV) on the remote control of the TV repeatedly to select EXT1. Press 0, 0, 2 on the remote control of the videorecorder to select AV 2. Note: * If you wish to record what you see on the screen, then connect to EXT2 of the television for recording. On the remote control of your videorecorder you press 0, 0, 1 to select AV 1 * The second scart connection on your set top box (TO VCR) stays empty * If your Set Top Box has an HDMI-out connection you connect an (extra) HDMI cable from this connection directly to the HDMI-in connection on your TV.
