How to clean the inside/heating element of my Philips Airfryer
If you need to know how to clean the inside (heating element) of your Philips Airfryer, follow the steps below.
Steps to clean the inside of your Philips Airfryer:
Unplug your Airfryer and make sure that it is not hot.
Remove the basket.
Turn the Airfryer upside down to reach the heating element more easily.
Clean inside with hot water and a soft sponge.
If necessary, food residues stuck to the heating element can be removed with a soft to medium bristle brush. Do not use a steel wire brush or a hard bristle brush, as this could damage the coating of the heating element.
The area behind the heating element can be reached with a flexible brush.
After cleaning your Airfryer, turn it on and let it run for a few minutes without any food in it. Residues that could not be wiped off should now be loose and are caught in the pan.
