    How to (re)install channels? [DVB-C/T]

    Situation
    Channels have to be (re) installed in the following situations:
    • During the first installation of the TV
    • When one or more channels are missing
    • When switching to a different provider or signal type

    Checklist

    Ensure that:
    • An analog or DVB-C/T signal is received by the TV (no set-top box is used)
    • All cables are firmly connected

    Answer

    To install TV channels directly onto the TV, proceed as follows:

    1. Press “Home” button on the remote control of the TV and select:
      • [Antenna/cable installation] > [Search for channels] > [Re-install channels] > “select the country”
      • Select [Antenna] or [Cable] and confirm with the “OK” button on the remote control.
      • Select the cable provider and press “OK” on the remote control.
      • Select [Digital and analogue channels] or [Only digital channels]
      • The highlighted option is [Start]. Press the “OK” button to start the channel search.

    Select [Settings] to adjust the channel search manually (optional) :

    1. Manually adjust the search settings as preferred

    Note : Contact the signal provider for more information on the settings below if a customized channel search is required.

    [Frequency scan] > Example: Select [Full scan] if one or more channels are not found during the regular channel search.
    [Symbol rate mode]
    [Free/scrambled]
    [Reset]

    1. Start the channel search
      Select “Done” to confirm the settings. Select [Start] and press “OK” on the remote control to start the channel search.
