My Philips body groomer does not switch on
If your Philips body groomer is not turning on, read here for possible causes and our advice on how to solve this issue.
Your Philips body groomer is connected to a power outlet
Your Philips body groomer will not work if it is connected to a power outlet. As the device can work in both dry and wet conditions, using it with water when plugged in can be very dangerous. Therefore, as a safety measure, we have designed the groomer for cordless use only.
Try unplugging your Philips body groomer from the main power supply and then switch it on again.
The battery of your Philips body groomer is drained
It is possible that the battery of your Philips body groomer has run out. We advise you to fully charge your groomer and then try turning it on again. The battery light on your body groomer indicates the power status, letting you know when the battery is low or full.
To charge your Philips body groomer simply follow the steps below:
Switch off your Philips body groomer.
Insert the charging plug in the socket at the bottom of the groomer.
Plug the charger into an electric socket and switch the electric power on. The light indicator on the body groomer will blink to show that the device is charging.
Note: Charging and running time can vary based on the model of body groomer you own. Please check your user manual for more information.
