Check what Smart TV is
I bought this product as a smart TV assuming they were like smartphones and that i could load apps to it. Not with this model. The only app you have access to is Youtube and for me it ia much easier to use this on my laptop rather than the slow TV.
I can access media files on my laptop via twonky using the USB dongle. The software that came with the dongle (media connect) does not work with this model.
Another reviewer mentioned the slow response of the remote control. This is so right. Boy is it slow. Not just a bit slow. Very slow. I also find it very slow to start up and load a channel.
I am pleased with the look of the TV and picture quality. I recently watched a blu ray disc and the picture was excellent.

EPG and general design use of remote is terrible
This TV is badly let down by the ability/speed of controls using remote. Firstly to access EPG is a three step process - when in most other TVs it is one button on the remote. Secondly once EPG access is pressed it takes a long time to load - much longer than any other TV. Thirdly once in the EPG it also takes an age to navigate up/down and to sides...and then a long time to action. I have checked and am told this is normal for this TV...and hence I would strongly advise to make sure you can stand these long delays before buying.

Excellent picture, trouble with sound
In retrospect I would not buy this product. Being my first flat screen, and first HD TV I now realize I should have bought a bigger TV. 32" just isn't big enough even if the old 28" tube was more than enough.
The picture quality is excellent but sound turns mute all the time (once or twice every evening TV turns mute for 3-5 seconds).
Switching between devices (TV, Blue Ray player) is sluggish and complex.
Built in Media player is an excellent feature, however not all files can be viewed. (perhaps file to large, unsupported format or corrupted file)
Internet browsing is really bad, sluggish and hard to navigate.
Built in applications are limited and not interesting.

Other options in same price class are better.
The design is nice, picture quality is good, the interface in itself is fairly friendly but crippled by it's slowness.
The YouTube app works, but is extremely slow. The TV shows the blinking red light to indicate that it's responding to the remote control button presses, but nothing happens on screen unless the button is pressed down for a solid 10 seconds.
The playback and buffering of YouTube / DLNA network content is inflexible (not enough codecs) and SLOW.
Some HD YouTube streams seem OK, but the buffer too short to ensure consistent smooth playback. (checked over a high-speed wired connection, bandwidth is definitely not the issue here)
Also worth considering: The TV is only a DLNA browser, it cannot advertise itself as a 'renderer' on the network. That is only a minor issue compared to the lacking support of codecs (most of the .mkv contained files cannot be played. A limited set of the .mp4 / mpg(2) contained files can be played).
The worst part is the EPG (electronic program guide).
It is SO SLOW that it is not worth using. Also, instead of an overview of the next couple of hours, it only shows the current running show + the next show.
The TV itself is OK if you can get it for a low price, it provides a vibrant full 1080p display in a nicely designed package.
But features advertised such as the EPG, DLNA (Home network streaming playback), YouTube, etc. are not usable. Even after installing the latest firmware update.
Regular TV (I'm using this with a DVB-C cable signal decoded via a CI+ CAM in the TV's slot) works well enough. Switching channels isn't too slow. Just the EPG and other 'smart' features are unusable.
It's a shame, really. I can't imagine that the processing equipment is too slow to run the relatively no-frills UI. They seem to have fudged something in the firmware.
I bought this TV for a relatively good price, with a slight focus on the features. However I gladly would have spent just a little more to get a TV with those features being usable. Probably could have gotten more Hz on the display as well.

Lovely screen, great sound for a flatscreen, but incredibly slow
The TV has great image quality, and pretty good sound for a flatscreen with tiny speakers, but the biggest problem is the response time to the controls. Changing a channel on the DVB tuner becomes an exercise in patience as you wait 10-15 seconds for the new channel to appear; worse still, scroll through the channels too quickly on the remote and you cause the entire tuner to crash. When this happens, the TV will remain blank until unplugged and you force it to restart. It's s hame, as otherwise this is a good & attractive unit, but really cannot be recommended.

Acceptable TV but way too slow
This is a perfectly acceptable TV in terms of its core function such as picture and sound. It is ruined by being so slow in terms of responding to the remote control that features such as EPG are virtually useless.
