First set was a 'used' item from John Lewis. It had a fault: kept forgetting its digital stations. On advice from Philips I took it back to JL, got a refund and then bought a new one.
It really is a very nice set and my 20-year-old daughter absolutely loves it. (It's her bedroom set). The picture is stunningly clear and the soud is good, especially for such a thin unit. The DVD is delightfully simple to operate - and the alternative controls on the side of the set are clear and accessible. (Handy if you can't find the remote).
Design and build quality is very good too.

A perfect bedroom or study TV/DVD combo
This product has great picture qualityand good sound volume levels. It has a Sleek profile and is easy to install using the standard Vesa mountings. Integrated DVD simple to use. The Digital Freeview planner is a little basic compared when compared with the Sky Planner but the now mostly redundant analogue tuner still allows Sky, Sky+ users to view Sky channels distributed via the SKY DigiBox 2nd UHF output. This is an extreemly PC monitor.

Bought this TV mainly for the sound as small flat screen TVs usually have tinny sound and no bass but for its size sound is exceptionally good, picture is also quite good, the Tv is only let down by the very poor and slow EPG
