7300 series4K UHD LED Android TV

The colours are amazing, the sound is dolby atmos, 65inch screen is like being at the cinema, easy to set up and no problems whatsoever.

We spent a lot of time choosing a smart tv and were delighted with the Philips .Unfortunately 2 months later my husbandx fell back and and hit screen smashing it. So we have had to replace it but with smaller screen. Still Philips and also pleased with that t .

I have decided to go for this TV at the beginning of April - 9th April 2020 - after reading positive and negative reviews about it. So far - I am very pleased with it. Delivery was free via COSTCO website, the price was very competitive, and after finding a review on Google how to set the RGB settings in the advanced settings on the TV, the picture quality is simply amazing! I have now watched a few 4K movies on Amazon and the picture quality and the details are absolutely fantastic. Just like in the cinema (with 4K HDR10+ movies). I use it with a 5.1 home cinema setup (Sony, with Tannoy 5.1 speakers). Switching the Ambilight on is just the icing on the cake. Only cons? I wish I’d bought this TV 4 days later, because from the 13th April till July 2020 you get a voucher for 10 Rakuten movies voucher as a special bonus! Dear Philips, could I get that voucher for the 10 movies, too? Many thanks.

This television is outstanding. The ambilight is a great addition. I tweaked my picture settings and what can I say, it’s such a great picture now! Out of the box I found the picture to be rather grainy, especially on dark background, however, with the right tweaking I’ve never seen a picture as good as this. Certain settings that you may feel will boost your picture quality are best turned off in my opinion, such as colour enhancement. I played around and got it to a great standard. Sky Q and YouTube in UHD/4K are amazing. I would definitely recommend this TV. I know some reviews have said the picture isn’t great, but with the right tweaking it can be. I’ve attached a photo to this review to show how I managed to boost the television’s quality. Overall I’m a really happy customer. I’ve always used a different TV brand, however I think I might just have been converted to Phillips now! Brilliant :-)

Good TV. Only using for PS4 and apps on Google store so can't say much about TV programs. Picture quality is great with 4 k and HDR , sound is great as well. So good so stopped using my sound bar. Very impressive back light , looks good. Simple remote control with Bluetooth, enables to control PlayStation without gamepad. Really smart TV. I like ability to stream from computer to TV any Video files , music and pictures.

I purchased this TV from Costco and when it was delivered I noticed it was not a U.K. remote that came with it, that's not a problem as the instruction book clearly points out the layout differences. The Ambilight is a great addition to the TV's functions and in my case adds to viewing enjoyment and impresses my friends and family. The image is huge and clear with good colours/contrast and no notacible problems to my eyes. The Home screen is a well laid out and useful laying out the various apps for TV channels and streaming services in logical rows across the screen with the ability to rearrange them in order of personal preference. Now on to the main problems, the apps for the catch up channels (BBC iplayer, STV, Channel 4, My5 etc) although appearing on the home screen did not work and clicking on them would get an "unable to open" message. After checking online the AV Forums website offered a solution as several of their users have had the same issue. I reinstalled the TV to factory settings and the apps all worked fine except BBC iplayer and My5. It took a second reinstall to get it all working correctly but no problems since. Another issue is that I can't save my preferred channels to Favourites although the instructions are clear on how to do it the option is not appearing. To sum up this is a very good TV. A large screen with a clear and bright image,Ambilight adds an extra dimension that philips rivals don't have and can't match. The issues with the apps is easily overcome once you are aware of what needs done. Finally a quick word about the sound, many AV magazines and reviews make comment about the perceived weakness of modern TV speakers but I could find nothing wrong with the sound on this TV. I found the sound to be able to go as loud as I wanted and remained clear while doing so. Sound can always be improved but usualy at the cost of several hundreds of pounds or even the low thousands.Unless your an AVholic this TV's sound is more than good enough.

A very innovative television. Has head phone jack socket allowing use of tv sound and headphone sound adjustment separately. important for our use.

We purchased this as liked the idea of the large screen with ambilight but mostly we wanted a smart tv that had all the catch up services available. We panicked before it came as reviews indicated that the catch up services were not available and came very close to cancelling the order. On arrival, I will not lie, the product was a huge disappointment. The only catch up service on the tv that worked was channel 5. BBC iplayer was available as an app but the screen was just black, All4 was totally missing and there was no app available to download either, and itv player displayed a message saying it as not supported by the manufacturers OS. We set about reading reviews to see if others were experiencing the same issues and thank goodness, one review told us “the fix”. Upgrade the tv to the latest version, then reset the tv (not the factory reset) but one that takes you totally back to the beginning when you first plug it in, meaning you have to re-enter your details. With an aerial in the back of the tv, do a scan of the channels. The apps should now be available however may still show a black screen. Unplug your tv for a few minutes but when turned on again, everything works! Considering there are a lot of very disappointed customers regarding this issue, I have written this review to share the “fix” that solved it for us. However, I believe that Philips should either be sorting this out prior to the TVs leaving the factory or sending a flyer out with step by step instructions. Now we are very happy with the tv and it does everything that we wanted it to do.
