good for the priceIt does what it says on the box, gives a good clean shave. This is the first rotary shaver thet I have used so I thought of buying that basic version to try. Not realising at the time that it was a battery shaver that cannot be used whilst plugged to a power socket came as a surprise as I was not told this at the time of purchase. I haven't had a battery shaver previous. The shave is good clean and comfortable wet or dry. As with most electric razors it does take a while to complete a shave but I didn't have a problem with that. The charge is long and the battery life short but by purchasing a dearer model this is corrected. The good point is that you are not tied to a shaver point in the bathroom as happened when visiting a hotel recently with my old shaver when the shaver point in the bathroom was faulty so couldn't get a shave. The shaver in my opinion is good for the moneyand does its job well. For anyone wanting a basic battery wet/dry shaver I would personally recommend this model.

Good value for moneyBought for my teenage son as his first razor and was perfect for the job. Keeps his skin good when using a gel and gives a good close shave.

Poor shave for the moneyI bought one to finally say goodbye to wet razors and their rip-off prices. Surprised at the prices of electric razors I bought this as a mid-priced unit and spent several weeks getting used to using it. Despite this, I could never get a very effective shave, there were always hairs that it wouldn't pick up that would take ages to try and trim. The lack of trimmer is also annoying for sideburns, which have to be done with scissors or a wet razor.
I have now gone back to the supermarket and bought another load of wet razor blades. This must be why I never used an electric razor before.

PHILIP'S DOES IT AGAINTHIS IS MY SECONDARY SHAVER, I HAVE THE AT890 ALSO AND I DON'T USE THE POP UP SIDE TRIMMER ON THIS MODEL VERY MUCH SO I CHOOSE THIS AT750/20 AS IT'S EXACTLY THE SAME MODEL MINUS THE POP UP TRIMMER, THE QUALITY OF THE LIFT AND CUT BLADES ARE SUPERB, SINCE USING THE AQUA TOUCH SHAVER FROM PHILIPS I HAVE NEVER HAD A SKIN REACTION OR ANY ISSUES WITH MY SKIN BOTH USING IT WET OR DRY.
WELL DONE PHILIPS AND THE PRICE WAS AMAZING, I COULD NOT FIND THIS MODEL ON THE HIGH STREET BUT WAS ABLE TO PURCHASE IT FROM THE PHILIPS OFFICIAL WEBSITE

It worked ok for a couple of years then electrics went peculiar. I'd turn it off and it would turn on again after a couple of minues. It worked ok for a couple of years and suddenly the electrics went peculiar. It would show it needed charging immediatley I had fully charged it. It would work, but would not completely turn off. I would turn it off and then it would turn itself on again after a few minutesl This went on for a couple of days and then it gave up all together. My previous Philips shaver HQ7300/16 is still working ok. I had used it as a back-up, but it turned out to be more reliable than the its successor!

Stopped workingI had to buy a new unit. A repair was impractical where I live. On/off control didn't function.
I didn't realise the warranty was about to expire.
I have just bought a new Philips shaver.
New heads, new battery, two journeys to repair shop, it's (almost) cheaper to buy new. It's less HASSLE to buy new.
This is my third.
