I think I am in love
This is by far the best toothbrush I have ever come across. As soon as you hold it in your hand you feel how sturdy it is. I like the different cleaning options and the fact they gradually increase in intensity over your first uses. I have used an electric brush for years and have never felt my mouth so clean.
The brush comes with a usb charging case which is so handy for travelling with. I particularly like that the head isn't completely attached to the handle meaning you can't put too much pressure on the bristles. The quad timer has become very handy in making sure my brushing is split evenly.
My only criticism's are that it only comes with one brush head and that changing between the modes has to be done while it is switched on. This means you miss out on a few seconds at the start of brushing. I have tried doing it after starting but it is impossible to see what you are doing with it in your mouth. Luckily it will power on using the last setting you were on so unless you have a need to change often this shouldn't be much of an issue.

Sleek design whilst achieving great dental hygiene
The Sonicare has certainly impressed me. It has left me feeling like I have improved my dental hygiene since using it. After each use so far I am amazed at how smooth my teeth feel against my tongue compared to my previous toothbrush, this alone proves to me that the Sonicare is much more effective and efficient than others I have used. The battery lasts a long time between charges and that's including my combination of using both clean (Morning) and deep clean modes (Night). I'm extremely satisfied with the product and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

Beautiful brush, beautiful results
On opening the box you know that this isn't your everyday electric toothbrush - before even looking at the accessories the design of the brush itself is gorgeous. The sleek storage box that allows you to also charge your toothbrush while it's stored is a bonus, as is the classy perspex & rose gold stand.
The toothbrush is beautifully designed, feels great in your hand and switching between modes is simple - the light up display is a great touch. Worth note is the fact that the body of the brush is easy to clean and, due to the concave shape of the bottom and no recess required for a charger, doesn't collect "gunk" at the base like some brushes!
I tried every mode and the difference in each is noticeable. Compared to my old electric toothbrush (now renamed The Boneshaker) this brush works with more of a hum than a buzz! My mouth was left feeling incredibly clean - the brush head really gets into every nook and cranny and the timer for each quadrant of your mouth is helpful. I have issues with sensitive teeth and gums and even outwith the "Sensitive" and "Gum Care" modes this toothbrush never gave me any issues with sensitivity or bleeding gums.
After a week of use I haven't had to recharge yet and haven't had any noticeable difference in power whereas my old brush would have required at least one charge by now!
This is a really great toothbrush - both in its design and performance.

The Philips Sonicare range of toothbrushes is the best you can get.
The DiamondClean Rose Gold edition is the latest. It provides you with a selection of brushing options: clean, whiten, polish, gum care and sensitive. Each setting has a timer so you know how long to keep going for and when to swap to different areas of your mouth. After using it, your teeth feel amazingly smooth and much cleaner than a normal toothbrush.
The Sonicare has an excellent battery life. A single charge can last more than 3 weeks which is way longer than most of the other brands.
Most electric toothbrushes charge by placing your toothbrush on a little plastic prong on a charging station. Over time, water and dirt will drip down and they can become rather grubby and unpleasant. This Sonicare comes with a glass that you simply place your toothbrush into. The glass fits onto the charging station. So any little drips or dirt can be easily washed away .
The second feature is the travel case. There is a high quality case which not only stores your toothbrush but which can double up as a charger. You simply plug in the case and the toothbrush gets charged while in there. It comes with both an electric shaver plug and also a USB. So you can charge the toothbrush pretty much anywhere.
Overall, this is a an excellent product, and i would highly recommend buying one.

Really pleased with this toothbrush
The toothbrush is well designed and seems to be well made. It works well and looks and feels good in the hand. It is definitely an improvement on my last electronic toothbrush. So far, I have only tried the basic clean mode and the whitening mode but it cleans my teeth very thoroughly in both of these modes. My mouth feels much cleaner than with a conventional manual toothbrush. The two minute timer is useful to ensure that you use it for sufficient time and the pulsing reminders every 30 seconds are helpful. The only minor criticism I can find is that it takes a little too long to charge up. I do not have an electrical socket in my bathroom so I have to remember to find a socket to charge it once a week and I always need it before it has finished charging and therefore have to return it to the charging stand for its final top-up. It may last longer than a week on a single charge but I don't want it to run right down. To be fair, others may not have this problem. If you have mains in your bathroom you would probably just leave the charging stand permanently plugged-in as charging stops when complete.

Not going back to a manual toothbrush
Before the sonicare diamond clean I used a manual toothbrush, I've tried an electric toothbrush in the past, but I didn't make it past the first clean, as it made me feel like it was going to knock all my teeth out!!
So I was unsure about trying this toothbrush, but I felt happy at reading about the breaking in mode, and the different modes that the toothbrush offers.
I have been using the sensitive mode, and I'm so happy with it, my teeth feel cleaner for longer, even after I've eaten, and my breath is fresher for longer, so it's obviously cleaning my teeth a lot more thoroughly than my previous toothbrush.
The brush has several modes you can use, including a deep clean.
It comes with a travel case, which also can be used to charge the toothbrush, and a separate stand charging base.
I do wish it came with a spare brush head, and I'd also prefer only one charging plug/cable that could be used for both the case and stand, as having different cables and plugs is extra things for me to lose!

I bought this about 2.5 years ago and thought the investment was worth it as my previous Phillips toothbrush had stopped working. I was the only user of this toothbrush, my partner has their own electric brush so it was used by one person a daily. Last week it stopped charging, I could use it but it made a terrible noise and now doesn't work at all.
I don't mind paying for a good product that works, it does and should last a while before breaking, this didn't.
Out of warranty so no recourse for me. I am not sure I would have paid so much for this product if I was aware it would fail so early. I have friends that have purchased electric toothbrushes for a lot less and they are still working. This is my second expensive Phillips toothbrush and whilst the clean is good I am not sure that buying another is an option now.

I've always used a manual toothbrush but lately I've been feeling a bit left out... Everyone seems to have such beautiful white teeth and healthy looking smiles and my teeth seem a bit dull in comparison. I haven't been able to achieve this with my manual toothbrushing so with the advice of my dentist I decided to try an electric toothbrush.
This Sonicare DiamondClean stood out for me because of its 5 brushing modes: Clean, White, Sensitive, Gum Care and Deep Clean.
When I opened the box I fell in LOVE! The Sonicare toothbrush handle itself was just so lovely and felt like pure quality and I loved the design and colours! I really like how the different modes flash up on the handle and how easy it is to change between modes.
There are 2 different ways to charge the Sonicare, using a charger stand or using a charging travel case. My favourite is using the travel case, its such a great idea!! Simply just put your Sonicare toothbrush handle into the case and plug the USB cable in then connect to a plug or your laptop to charge!
The first couple of times I used the Sonicare it tickled as I wasn't used to the vibration but after using it for a couple of days I was used to it.
The travel case is really handy for safe and secure storage. I didn't much use the charge stand as the handle didn't feel secure and if the surface was knocked the handle fell off really easily...
After using the Sonicare my teeth feel so clean and smooth when I run my tongue over them. I actually look forward to using it haha!
After 4 weeks of use my teeth actually DO look much brighter and whiter! I did use the 'White' mode quite a few times but mostly used the 'Clean' mode and my teeth look great! I feel more confident to smile properly now and not worry whether my teeth look dirty or dull.
