Value for money but only when discounted
This is a 'bundled' product, the recorder unit and an ageing version of Dragon with a not to generous upgrade offer . . .
The unit is neat though overly complex in use when compared to others I've used, the recording quality is good and the playback quality is good. The unit though small seems tough and battery life is excellent.
The speech to text produces gobbledegook and I am a clear speaker of standard English. When others in meetings are non-mother tongue speakers or have accents the results are not often usable. More time is spent editing than would have been spent writing notes.
Overall fine for recording and playback once the complexity is mastered but should be regarded as a purchase for normal use only and at full price the not very useful software makes the product costly for what it is.

An idea before its time . . .
A good idea and tried it to save slowing meetings by taking notes. It's actually a very good little recorder but the transcription is still more hassle than it's worth as the gobbledegook that sometimes results takes much longer editing than it would have taken to take conventional notes.
Without adequately functioning software (and Dragon were a bit mean in supplying an older version for bundling, there is a much better one out there) it is only a high priced recorder and there are more functional ones available for less with Bluetooth for recording mobile calls etc.
