That's exactly right
Really is 'Note taking at it's best'...
I used this at a local community event recently. I had used another voice recorder before , the sound quality on it was fair, but a bit gravely. So I wasn't sure what to expect.
However it actually sounded quite clear on the products' speaker in spite of it's small size. However once I hooked it up to the PC I was actually suprised at the quality of the sound. It was almost like listening to it on the radio. Especially as I just had it clipped onto my jacket (via the optional tie clip microphone). also it was only on the MP3 setting and not the WAV setting.
I definately plan to use it again for any other events that I attend in the future. Now I can record memories that would otherwise be lost!

High initial expectations sadly not met in use.
First of all can I say that this is a stylish lightweight compact voice recorder. It was purchased specifically for its software connections to Dragon naturally 11.5. In use it is not intuitive as previous voice recorders that I have used have been. The lengthy and difficult to follow instructions evidence that this device requires considerable understanding and sympathetic handling to optimize effectiveness. I am still struggling with it. I have resorted to Fablon covering the instructions to keep with me! Transcribing however and linking to PC is quick simple and effective. Perhaps if I could manage to download the updates my recorder might be more effective but have TRIED and TRIED with no success as no linkage established with the download and the device!

The sound reproduction and sensitivity is very good. Controls are fine but could be better. Plastic body is not the most robust and could be made more solid (metal?) I am please though overall
