The most elegant and comfortable to use cordless phone I could find ever...
Its been quite a long while I was searching for a phone like this.
Beautiful fashionable design with such a tactile keypad arrangement.
The keypad is made from a rubber like material(probably silicon) which is very pleasant to touch. Beneath there are click buttons not only feel durable but they are very tactile also. When you push them there's a physical click makes you sure what you typed is correctly inputed even when the key sound is off.
Other manufacturers generally use silicon keys with a soft conductive material behind them...Just like any TV remotes they gather dirt over time and eventually unusable(I know because I trashed lots of them including phones)..
Oh and they're back lit too. Same cool ice white as the display...
Sound wise its so so to me. Both parties would be fine but I expected rather more clear sound.
The speaker phone however is excellent and quite bassy I found myself using its speaker phone feature more than the ear piece even when there are my folks around...
Also if you expected the mic is right in front of your mouth during a call you would be disappointed like me.. Because its located below the zero key(yes the hole on the lower can is useless...)
I dont know exactly why they did this design but I'm sure there were some technical reasons...
Display is large enough and legible even to the tired eyes woken up late at the midnight by a non-welcomed caller..
Caller ID feature is there and I have't had any issue with it so far..
Be warned duplicate IDs called at different times WONT be shown if that matters to you. Only the last one will be shown.
There are some minor cons also:
-That top/battery cover is shiny and is not as finger print resistant as advertised..Also can easily get scratches.
-The LED indicator at the top keeps blinking with missed calls causing the standby time shorter and wont be disabled.
-There could be a local area code filterer for easier redialing/saving right from the caller ID input list...
-No wake up alarm.
A highly recommendable gadget if design and ergonomics is your priorities.
