Excellent value shaver for quick efficient ssavingI bought this shaver for quick shaving when pressed for time and it suits this purpose perfectly. The resultant shave is close and therefore good quality, belying the price really. Personally I prefer the Philips trade-mark three razor heads rather than the competitor's foil shavers, give a better shave I feel. It is easy to clean quickly and for me the 240volt mains operation is ideal; it simply works off a bathroom shaver socket.
Ideally it would come with a case - it has only a plastic cover for the shaver head - so a bit of penny-pinching here. There is no sideburn or beard trimmer, but that is stated in the shaver features so no surprise. I have a small Philips battery shaver for travel purposes so I only use this mains power one at home. For lightweight travel this mains powered one is slightly bulky but is quite light that said.
Recommended for someone wanting a simple mains powered shaver that does the job with no fancy "bells and whistles".

Excellent vlaue for moneyThis shaver does the job efficiently for a very modest budget. It is compact to hold and well made. Why pay more? Pity that it does not come with a storage/carrying container.

Philips ShaverShaver works well but I was disappointed that it does not have a pop up trimmer like my last one.
