Good, but improvements possible...
I needed a device to listen to the radio in my home country, in particular Program 3. The Philips Internet radio adapter was purchased as a second hand device. The user manual I have downloaded from the Internet. The description of the registration process (required to be able to use the device) is easy enough to perform all the necessary steps, however, regardless the conformation of registering, the adapter was still "blocked". So I used an on-line manufacturers help and with some suggestions and after performing the registration again it started working as it should.
To get to the certain radio station after turning the device on, you have to go through all the menu: "music", "radio time", "per location", "country", ect. It should be made easier to get to the desired station in no time. There is something about "Favorites" but I did not manage to store there any of my stations.
At the beginning there was a problem with a stability of some of the stations. It looked as the buffers were getting empty and the radio was becoming quiet for a while, until the new data was loaded. It could have been caused by the poor data streaming...now it's much better and interruptions are rare. In general it works fine and I'm satisfied with its performance.

I thought it would be good, but alas, no!!
What I really wanted this unit for is the internet radio connection, after a bit of a nightmare with the setup, finally got it configured, but for the life of me I can't seem to be able to save internet stations. I've gone on line & registered the unit & put lots of stations into "my favourites", but when I look at the unit they are not there?! Why not!!?? It would be so easy to register all your favourites & then find them on the unit??!! Philips have great products, but useless software, I have a 1TB PVR, great unit, once again erratic & unreliable software. I found another article, thinking hopefully about saving the stations, guess what? didn't work! Perhaps someone out there has more knowledge, I have sent a message to Philips, am waiting for a reply, without the facility to save stations, the unit is a s good as useless???!! Many thanks.

Buggy and unreliable
I love the design and sometimes just works well. Other times, it cuts out, half of all songs stop before they are finished. You also have connection errors every now and then and 1/3 of the time it doesnt turn on by remote control so have to pull the plug out. An odd setup process where you log in and create profiles which dont seem to make any difference.
If this has an Ethernet connection, perhaps it would be more flexible. I am using latest firmware. It could be fixed software if they tried hard enough.
