My Philips Avent Natural teat collapses

The anti-colic valve is located below one of the numbers that is printed on the base of the teat.

It is important to clean your teats regularly to avoid any blockage in the anti-colic valve. To do this, follow the steps below:

1. Disassemble the bottle and teat, and wash them in warm, soapy water
2. Find the valve, which is located below one of the numbers that is printed on the base of the teat
3. Hold the teat below the valve and pull the tip firmly until you see the valve opening
4. Continue your cleaning routine by sterilising your parts and then allow them to air dry

If the teat collapses during feeding, follow the steps below to fix this:

1. Pull the teat out of the bottle using your clean fingers or tongs
2. Find the valve, which is located below one of the numbers that is printed on the base of the teat
3. Making sure that the valve is on top, pull the teat sideways. Pull firmly until you see the valve opening
4. Once opened, you can continue the feed
