This two day MR introductory course includes a mixture of both practical and theoretical applications. Using typical MR exams and image examples throughout, delegates will become confident at manipulating the contrast and parameters of MR images. The Philips console is used to demonstrate how these topics and parameters relate to your Philips system and to the resultant image quality.
Delegates will be introduced to the MR physics behind the image acquisition with a sound knowledge of the signal and the noise sources, and how these can then be suppressed or enhanced as required. Common artefacts and how to deal with these is also covered.
Attendees will complete the course with an understanding of how to optimise the MR system to get the best results for their patients. This course provides the basic MR theory an MR user needs, and is an excellent foundation for further practical training.
